This ladder situation isn't still the worst scenario to the Shapebuilder tool. Because you could have selected half the ladder with rectangle selection, and then the other half. Both are still usable. The problem of the Shapebuilder tool would be if the big vertical shapes are joint with only a single horizontal shape. So this would be the "ideal" situation to use the Pathfinder instead. But remember, Pathfinder is still a "1-click" tool, much faster! Haha
Is there a quick way to get rid of path edges after using Shape Builder Tool? Also is there a way without duplicating the object to change the width of a stroke of let's say a donut shaped compound object? Like the inside of the donut to have one stroke and outside a different width
Pathfinder is not that much of a good tool, it is important and essential but needs to be redesigned. I'm switching from Coreldraw I have noticed that corel's version of this tool works much better.
Very, very helpful and clearly demonstrated! Thank you!
Very well done, good breakdown of the two tools.
THANK YOU!!! Amazingly explained video! Learned more in this one video then I have in other videos. Thanks!!!
