Yeah know I've been watching drag racing since the mid 80's and it always amazes me that that car is going 200+ mph in 660 feet.. and it doesn't even sound like it's working very hard.. Kudos man keep up the good work
@surrynet Yeah thanks for the complement bro, but that lightly modded 08 mustang gt is dead and gone now, i've got a new 07 gt now with similar mods. Anyways, did you do mod your '89 mustang gt in any way, or did you keep it all original? I'm sure it'd be an interesting thing to see, along with any other muscle car. Also i'll check out that pannel.
@surrynet I guess you could say i'm crazy over fords, but I'm sure not dissappointed that this car isn't powered by a ford motor, I mean, people do all sorts of things with pro stock cars, so it's not that much of a surprise. Anyways, thanks for the complement, but we are talking about the background pic on my channel, right?
You know people, complaining about how its not a 1/4 mile isn't going to change the video. 1/4 is dangerous in those cars. I wouldn't want to tear up my brand new $250000 Shelby the first day I used it. Common sense is a necessity in drag racing.
It's best to run these cars on 1/8th miles because it goes from 0-200 in 3.5 seconds, therefore it will hit top speed before a quarter mile is even over. Although I prefer 1/4 races also.
Aren't some slicks streetlegal? Just saw Dragweek and could've sworn Dave Ahokas was driving from strip to strip on his slicks, and those must've been actually legal with all that press around them. Or was his using stuff like Hoosier H6 and equivalents?
There is no standard that says 4 cylinder engines are more volumetrically efficient. There are plenty of naturally aspirated v8's that are well over 100%. Super stock hemi v8's - 7.0 L - over 1,000 hp and just as much torque (over 1,500 NM). The NASCAR 358 cubic inch v8's - 5.8 L - upwards of 800 horsepower, naturally aspirated. However, it is much easier just to supercharge a factory street v8 for volumetric efficiency. Corvette ZR1 - s/c 6.2 L - 638 hp 2013 GT500 - s/c 5.8 L - 662 hp
@dunhillsupramk3 Doesn't need to. He'd have time to stop, refill the fuel cell, take a wiz, grab a cup of coffee, look over this mornings headlines, then idle it around the corner before the lambo caught up. (And before you send me hate mail, just know that obviously I'm kidding.)

Awesome run. Mustangs rule!
I remember this. Man I just seen King Tut at Dinwiddie last weekend tuning the P2 construction car in pro boost
awesome car and beyond awesome motor love to hear that beast roar down the track great video
Thats flying in 1/8 mile congrats!! " todd" straight down Broadway to!! Nice..
Not a particular fan of american cars, but this thing's just sheer badass! 208MPH in 3.7s is ridiculous! Great job Todd!
Back to the real subject matter. That car is SICK. I can't even imagine the g-force feel you get on launch
holy shit
more like 208 in a 1/8 mile
Runs HARD ! Nice video
ive stood beside this car before when he took off at piedmont i couldnt hear anything for 2 days straight and i was terrified it was so loud
I have seen todd run with some of his other cars in the past,,he was doing stuff with a 390cui motor that was unreal 5years or more ago

Good run, man!
When the engine is taller than the car, you know shit is going down
Look, it even got a reverse gear, true family car!
@Dusty594 Im pretty sure its the 1/8, just because of the short run, REGARDLESS, thats thing is a BEAST!
Hey guy, fast car... Just wanted to know if it can do a burnout? I would assume so but just asking
@TradeMark2003 yes, that's 1/8 mile or 660 feet...
that is fckin fast as hell!!!!! and baddass to boot!!
awesome!

Was this actually a 1/4 mile? Either way, it was a little surprising when the car dropped off over the little hill and disappeared.
holy shit!! How can driver hold this beast in one direction?
THATS THE BAT-MOBILE IN SUPER SAIYAN MODE.
Chuck called, he want his weekend car back

I knew it was going to be fast when I saw it idle back at 40mph.
shit just got real
that car goes faster backwards then my car foward
Ford really stepped up there game with the new GT500's. Finally got a rid of the Eaton Supercharger and put a little bigger Supercharger on it! ^.^
@surrynet Sounds good bro, and i'm sure your brother respects you and your car enough to bring it back in one piece, I wouldn't worry.
Get a clue little kids, it's MPH and that's 1/8 mile...
Get a clue little kid, they usually run around 180 MPH in the 1/8 mile, not 203 MPH
It was a fast run
that is the best youtube comment of all time
LIKE A BOSS!
OMG that's a beast
@surrynet Okay, just wanted to know. Thanks. However I could tell you were ready to make a big deal out of this. Is that really necessary?
holy shit thats quick.
Your right.
How could it accelerate that fast without lifting the front end?
Looks like a fine Jeffers car.
At what mph does your space shuttle complete the standing mile?
That hurt my neck....and I'm sitting at a desk...
YES
you see dat vacuum on the hood? LOL DAM!!!
14 gallon tank I assume and .1 MPG. That's just Nasty - Cleveland
@Daehawk Na its a 1/8th mile track
@dunhillsupramk3 Doesn't need to. He'd have time to stop, refill the fuel cell, take a wiz, grab a cup of coffee, look over this mornings headlines, then idle it around the corner before the lambo caught up.

the batmobile is the nr,. 1 fan of this car :))
nice car man she deadley
Oh look, there's a mustang attached to that blower!
Monster !!!
holy shit. it seems too good to be true
One bad dude
I think nobody exactly knows how many hp this car has, but in my opinion it's about 7-10k hp, because cars with 2k hp do 1/4 mile in 8 seconds.
Do fast does your gti go in the standing mile?
Is there so much power on idle that he doesn't even have to use the throttle to reverse?
Its a real Muscle Machine! (Diecast)
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that was the 1/8th mile right?
You can't put linelocks on those cars?
ya, but does 3.73 make sense on a 1/4 mile?
is that 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile?
Much horsepower does it have?
How much will that cost in fuel?
what are the specs on the engine of this beast?
@terronkeem a Lamborghini can turn a corner can Todd Tutterow's Mustang?
Is that 1/8 of a mile or 1/4
oh my fucking god. i dont know much about racing but i did not expect it to go nowhere near that fast
geeeezzz....makes my 6.50 car look like its creepin'....
He almost did the 1/4 mile on the peel out. Lol
i never see this in all my life.
1/4 milla o 1/8 de milla ?
no, i believe its a regular 4 stroke engine.
holy rusted sheetmetal, batman! That things faster than plague.
but will it blend?
Horse power and torque?
Badass car
and then try to take the next sharp corner as fast as you can while you're running :)
@rsrobz Farmington is a 1/8 mile
That is no longer a mustang, that is one of the 4 horseman's horses.
This is fucking crazy
Want to experience!
If it has all the signals and it's got tags, it's street legal.
Purpose built vehicles will always do better against production cars.
How do people see in those things?!
DAMN!!
the back tires are bigger than my room man...wtf...
wonder what she runs in the 1/4mile...
1/8th mile?
Holy shit....... f'ing monster...
Is that a 1/4 mile??? cuz 200 at 1/8 doesn't make sense
I don't know his exact HP, but we run 189 mph in 7.43 seconds with 1350 HP, I would guess no more then 2500 HP but that's just a rough estimate
JEEZUZ!!!
Whatever happened to 1/4 mile racing ?????
I would say that you are very close, Dewey.
how can he see behind behind wheel?:D
