I've also got a very delicious hot broccoli casserole w/ florettes button mushrooms pimento and cream of mushroom soup and shredded cheese from my mom's sister the first time I ate it I was about nine years old and I'm now a few years away from sixty yrs old - still not yet a senior. It's humorous at times to be able to say '" I'm not old enough" haha! Have a wonderful day Paula & family ❤❤

I see old friends after not seeing them for many years and they ask me about my broccoli salad and if I still make it. It’s like yours, but instead of honey, I use a little bit of sugar… And no candied nuts! Roasted and salted sunflower seedsare a must!

I like to cut the broccoli pieces in half before making a broccoli salad. The pieces in the bag are too big to eat easily. Forget the raisins (always).

Please get you some glasses that are a ladies frame. My daddy was an optometrist and I learned how to help his patients decide what frames looked good for them. You are to pretty to cover your eyes with those huge glasses. And the broccoli salad looks delicious. Loved my Savannah visit and I had to send my chicken back at your restaurant. It was to spicy for me. But the steak they prepared for me was delicious and I commend you on making sure your customers were taken care of. Also took the Paula Deen tour and love the crab soup at Uncle Bubba’s. I was delicious also. Had a great time in Savannah and would come back for another visit. But I would have to bring my son and his family for my husband if no longer with us. We had a great time.
Paula, Just wanted to let you know the head of broccoli 🥦 is called florets, not flowerets. Flowerets is not even a word in the English language. LOL

You could replace the sugar coated pecans with ordinary pecans.😊🫶
It’s not too hard to adapt on your own. Change raisins to fresh berries and change sugared nuts to a plain nut or seed.
If you are diabetic you already know how to do it if not ask ur doctor per an RN (ME). This isn't a diet Channel.
No raisins, no honey, almonds versus pecans.
Just eat the broccoli. Fixed it for you 🍴🥦
