Says someone who has likely never had a challenging life like mine. You probably never went through childhood trauma, verbal abuse, emotional abuse, growing up with a dysregulated, emotionally immature single mom, and having to struggle your whole life. Eventually some people like me go through hell for so long that we just come to expect it to be our entire life for as long as we live. We struggle and struggle and struggle despite knowing nobody in this crappy ass world truly gives a damn.
To anyone who is struggling with high emotions like me, you are not alone and you CAN change yourself, you are the only one who can. So do it, for your own happiness. We don’t realize that we are ruining our own lives. So focus on yourself and relax, you are overreacting, I know that sound irritating, but sometimes we need to hear it. Because we are. But relax, it’s not the end of the world. Take your time, you don’t need to say things that you later regret.
If you’re reading this please take this as a sign that things are going to be okay. I’m in a serious mental rut and reading these positive comments it’s hard to convince myself of them too. I have been waking up everyday for the last few months out of nowhere in my sleep, I can go back to sleep back wake again feeling lethargic. Early hours this morning I awoke out of nowhere at 2am, stayed awake till 430am then put this on. You probably never went through childhood trauma, verbal abuse, emotional abuse, growing up with a dysregulated, emotionally immature single mom, and having to struggle your whole life. Eventually some people like me go through hell for so long that we just come to expect it to be our entire life for as long as we live.
