@user-vk2wp4ot8h there's only 195 countries in the world. I've seen this elsewhere so you're a bot as well as a troll. All those countries and all those clubs and never once has there been the sort of excitement on and off the field for riot ball that you see here.
I have to give credit to Anthony Hudson, despite being a Geelong man himself, he was able to give some amazing commentary, you can't say that about everyone.
I've never seen a player do anything close to what Nick did to Geelong since this moment, I still get goosebumps watching this and as a port supporter ❤❤❤
You will never experience a situation like that again in your lifetime! 1 player single handedly kicking the last 4 goals in a row within 13 minutes to put a team infront by 3 points in a semi final, to go on and win the grandfinal. This is the pinnacle of footy and that's coming from a die hard st kilda fan!
And not to mention, all goals from davis being world class. I totally agree with the comments, will stand out as one of the great individual and general quality of football games played.
Biggest moment in the AFL at the SCG. Bigger than Locketts 1000th goal, Bigger than Buddy's 1000th goal. That moment will be etched in history forever.
Watch the grand final. He sets up Amon Buchanan for one too. There was view of it behind the goals. there were Swans players setting screens like Basketball. It's almost a designed play, I'm sure of it.
Even as an Eagles fan, I’m so glad this happened. What a miracle, the Swans fans deserved this and the subsequent Grand Final win, but we’re all winners in the end when we have incredible moments like this that will live on forever
The swans/eagles rivalry of those years was amazing 4 games all finishing withing 4 or 5 points everytime, still 2 of the best GFs ever, and thats from a swans fan. Even the loss was still a brilliant GF
Isn’t it nice when a plan comes together? That final goal was a Swans set-play - how they managed to clear so much space around the ruck contest with every player inside the 50...
Pies supporter here, watching this yet again in 2024. Still the best last quarter ive ever seen not to mention individual effort. Not enough is said about the quality of three of his four goals, especially his first two. World class.
It’s definitely one of the greatest but to say you’d be crazy not to think it’s THE greatest is actually what’s crazy. Stupid really ..Jarman kicked 5 in the final quarter to win the actual grand final for the crows in 97. Dom Sheeds winner from the pocket in 2018 and the entire sequence of play leading up to it was truly epic. Essendons 9 Goal last quarter to storm over the hawks in 84 after the humiliation of 83. Leo Barrys mark in 2005. Tom Boyd’s game and centre square bomb that sealed the drought breaking dogs flag of 2016. Max Gawns 5 goal prelim performance. Melbourne’s 107 vs 6 score in the final 45 minutes of last weeks GF. No doubt Davis final term is right up there with the GOAT but it’s subjective and not “crazy” to think otherwise
@@jakeseymour2484 @Jake Seymour all those are elite but this one is a level above. Davis scored more in that quarter than his team did the whole game, one with literally 5 seconds to go and went on to break the longest droubt in AFL history because of it. Jarmans 5 let's be honest the crows were winning that game if he kicked 2. Dom sheeds goal/play is fair but it's only play, Davis is a whole quarter. Leo Barry's mark, even if he drops it they still win that game 99/100 times. Max fawns goals, they dominated the game so didn't impact the result. And tom boyd is great moment but clearly doesn't compare to this
