Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02), led a letter with nine of his Republican colleagues to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Director Steven Dettelbach inquiring about the shut down of the ATF eForm website, which occurred between February 27th, 2024, and March 1st, 2024. The website has proven to be a simple and effective method for Americans to access their right to own a firearm by significantly lowering wait times for ATF forms.

The best way to fix this problem is for Congress to remove silencers (suppressors) and short barreled rifles / short barreled shotguns from the NFA by amending the NFA itself. This would take approval of these arms out of ATF control.
No. The best way to fix the problem is to get rid of the NFA, GCA and Hughes Amendment. They're unconstitutional.
Abolish the ATF while we're at it.

Still waiting 6-9 months for approval of Form-4s.
A lot of people in the past few weeks have gotten their form 4s done and approved in as little as 5hrs too 2 weeks wait.

@@justinm1732 Seems like the Individual Form 4's are getting processed at a quick pace...but the Trust Form 4's are still lagging wayyyy behind.
They've got a lot of money for the size of their bureau. Apparently stymying Americans' rights is expensive.
We all know it's not a mistake.
We need a system that works efficiently for everyone involved, not one prone to random shutdowns. Hopefully, they'll get their act together soon.

Something good happened... I hear some form 4s are coming back super fast. I know a guy who got a suppressor stamp back in 13 days within the last 3 weeks.
Over the last few months, ATF has been approving NFA items at unprecedented speed for most applicants. I think they started doing this recently for two reasons. First, they're trying to counter proposals to drastically lower their funding. Second, they occasionally shut down the eForms website to make a lot of people on the right side of the political spectrum oppose a potential government shutdown. Both give Dems more leverage in budget negotiations.

But you must know how to use the courts without a lawyer. It only takes a couple weeks to learn, law school is for lawyers, not us!
If we litigated en masse we could bankrupt the ATF. They couldn't afford to operate - also by going after the INDIVIDUALS that you come in to contact with, not just the organization.

no mistake, no routine maintenance, they originally stated lack of funds at first so anything after the original statement is clearly not being transparent. Just sayin....

Time for a major overhaul
Down again today, March 13th.... just as I got ready to certify.
I don’t know the reason or purpose for it going down, but I do know of someone which it benefited. An application was submitted (certified) on 2/15/24 and was approved on 3/4/24 for a suppressor. 18 days from submission to approval which is completely unheard of without a shut down, much less having had one. Shocking but true.

A government website not working? Man, am I shocked. There's no hidden meaning here, every government website I've ever used has been complete ass.
Have you seen the DoD's budget? Have you used DTS? I rest my case.
Every Government site that will undergo maintenance always post a notice on the agency site in advance. This was not a blunder, just made to look like one. Just the Whitehouse Office getting instructions from Bloomberg and using Alinsky Rule 13, 8 and 10. 😁

What do you guys have to say about all of the videos on youtube of you guys NOT defending your clients in self defense shootings?
I say there is a lot of incomplete or simply inaccurate information circulating out there, but if you have any specific questions or concerns I'd be more than happy to address them with you!
So customers are paying their premiums. and you are starting to deny representation to legitimate self-defense claims? Perhaps you should stop giving away free guns, and concentrate your efforts on doing what you're supposed to do for paying members.
The future of their life depends on you. It's not a Costco membership. I am reading stories of members leaving you in droves.
Thousands of USCCA Members have acted legally in self-defense and tens of millions of dollars have been paid out on their behalf by the insurance company to defend them.
There is a lot of straight up false information being circulated currently related to membership benefits and members "being dropped" but if you have any specific questions or concerns I'm happy to address those for you.
