This one was written by Burt . Look up the guy, a lot of songs and some how berry gordy got him to give el debarge this...it needs remakes el didn’t own it
@@oleskeetercars He's written and composed many "DeBarge" songs though. I think his first solo album he barely wrote anything but on the rest of his albums he wrote, and composed, pretty much every song.
El DeBarge always sounds just like his records. That's why he has always been a favorite artist to hear sing.

I love this guy!!! Always so humble and nervous when comes on strange then when he gets to the middle he cuts loose. This is one of his classics. I listen to it weekly so happy to see this..I wish he would sing more his classics now days. They were masterpieces written before his time..

Came across El in May 2022 and I am like who is this man..now I am learning real R&B an amazing singer, song writer. God Willing 🙏 he will stay clean and continue his journey with loads of happiness and sobriety.
