Great video as usual lads which I find really useful and confidence giving.I do basic jobs on mine and now after watching you & your dad I am doing more & more, thanks a lot 👍
Good information, I've not had to replace the fuel pump yet so this is really helpful. The inertia switch is one to check and can trip after some hard driving, and also probably best to replace because the plastic inside falls to bits
I found the hardest bit is removing the multi-plug. Half a gallon of plus gas later it came off, but bloody hell can't they have either a better design or at least put in a position you can get a grip? And if the cover was 2 inches wider it would make the whole process a lot easier. But that's land rovers.
Guys im having a non start problem on 2003 disco. TD5. It wasnt starting without me mashing the hell out of the throttle (i tried running the 5throttle fuel bleed for 10/11 times, still no improvemnt). Ive bought a new fuel pump (old one was 18 months old) fit it yesterday. And the absolute swine still isnt starting without tonnes of throttle. Ive done the above bleed 15 times.... still refusing to start without tonnes of throttle.... Whats happening?

Thanks for watching.
Thank you very much Land Rover I am going to do the same on my td5 and check how it behaves then
Nice one! My fuel pump was much quieter after the filter change!
Great helpful video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and a well tidy D2.
Thanks for watching

Always check the non return valve on the fuel filter. If its faulty the landy won't run.
Fit the seal and push the pump through it. Don't push the pump in with the seal on the pump.
Thanks
Yeah on the video you can notice that the seal is not properly installed when they push the pump into the tank.

Fuel pressure regulator is new/ 2 years old 10,000 on it - Maybe the fuel lines near the filter housing are corroded? (new filter as well)
@@Chazb5046did you sort it out.

Send me an email mate and I'll send you my number wardyscycleworx@gmail.com
Also "noisy pump" good, or at least working. "No noise" bad, as not working at all.
