  • In this introductory video, we will show how to disassemble laptop HP Pavilion G6-2000.

    How to (replace, remove, disconnect, install, upgrade, clean, apply):
    0:11 - replacement battery module
    0:19 - replacement main access pannel
    0:29 - replacement hard drive/ssd
    0:39 - upgrade RAM/memory
    0:55 - replacement optical drive
    1:10 - replacement wi-fi
    1:46 - replacement keyboard
    3:43 - disconnect touchpad
    5:53 - disconnect screen
    6:00 - disconnect USB
    6:20 - replacement motherboard
    6:41 - replacement fan and heatsink
    7:43 - replacement CPU
    7:53 - clean CPU/GPU and heatsink

    How about the ones that have CPU and GPU?
    I have a 2305sq With i7 cpu and radeon gpu

    Not good enough. The other video I watched the guy pulled the whole board out. A lot more work but when he pulled the plastic fan cover off there was a huge ribbon of lint blocking the out going hole about 3/8" thick by 1 1/2" long. Mine is 1st generation G6 and under the key board the fan and metal

    So, I'm stuck removing the keyboard and YOU already rmoved it prior to this video - thus, this is not helpfull.
