I have to admit that's something I never understood in the series. Rava contained and held the Avatar powers and their essence. While she was "destroyed" her personality was very intact and her powers. When she was returned to Korra why did all the other Avatars become wiped out? Rava should have still held them since destroying her destroyed them, but in the end she could not be destroyed? I don't know. Not a bad plot point, but to me it felt a little weak and pushed just so they could have Korra go on alone. Didn't seem to have enough validity to the story really, or it could have been better explained.

Alissa Williams they are not destroyed, just korra’s connection to them, they still exist in the spirit world. Perhaps the connection could be re-established by her or a future avatar

@@johanstevens5824 I would like it if they did that because it felt like a very forced point to me. Idk, I didn't fully care for the Korra series. First season was great...second not so much...third I thought was good...then the fourth I was just glad it was over.

@@alissawilliams8423 I honestly would've liked if the memory of the past avatars were wiped, only Korra would remember and they'd have to relearn about the past avatars. This could lead to a heart breaking scene where Korra goes to Katara and talks about what happened

Katara: "Aang, who's Aang?"
Korra: ".........."
