I turned 50 seven months ago. I’ve had two Corvettes and plan to get another. In no way shape or form will I ever own a garage queen. My vettes were meant to be driven and I daily drove both of mine (from April to November depending on the weather) and best believe I will daily drive my next one. Buying a car like a Corvette and just parking it in the garage is utterly pointless to me! Drive it like you stole it!
I daily drive my 2020corvette z51 in the new york tri state area. Ive daily driven all my new corvettes iver the past 20 years and quarter of a million miles on them. Great daily driver. Snow rain and sunny weather no problem. Ill be 6 feet under and all my corvettes used as daily drivers will be all shiny and run great Never let anything you own.......own you. Use it.
I am 75 years old, 6’1” tall and weigh 218 pounds. I have been driving for 63+ years. Our Arctic White 2023 3LT HTC non Z51 with performance exhaust, front lift, magnetic ride, red/black interior, carbon flash painted nacelles, top, low spoiler, door trim, and other trim pieces is the best vehicle I have ever driven. We drove it for 2 1/2 months and put over 2,200 miles on it before parking it for the winter. Both of the Vettes we have owned have been on salt free diets and Northern Illinois uses a lot of salt. We will never track it, although it is capable of handling much better than I want to push it.
I just got my '24 C8. I'm approaching 78 years old. I was saving my money and I said what the heck. I found a decent deal on a Basic no options Torch Red 1Lt for a few thousand dollars below MSRP so I bought it. When I look in my Garage, I can't believe how cool it looks !!! I bought it out of state so I racked up a lot of miles in the first month. Got a little over 2,400 miles in 2 months. Now I take it out for local driving about once or twice a week. All year driving here in Daytona Beach. I'm attending the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School too !! Oh, I'm also a do-it-yoursefer. All work & Maintenance will be done by me. I've installed a front Splitter, a rear Spoiler and a 2M Performance Exhaust System. Looks good and Sounds soo good !!!

I like and love the look and perf of the corvette. However while i can purchase and drive what i want up to 100k i guess. I bought a 2018 Esclade lux instead. Yes now AN ESCALADE is a daily driver. My coworker has the stingray and does not like driving it everyday and constantly ask me jokingly i guess to swith me for my 2016 atsv coupe....ahh Nope! Its just sots really really low to the ground.

I got 24 k on mine currently. Just got my first check light engine. Transmission code. Also getting the drop top fixed it locked up. My c8 also stalled on me 2x. Warranty still good so im not tripping!!
I sold my 2018 mustang GT with 23,600 miles with a few mods for 30K and made a profit of $7,618 after the lien was payed off so I used the money as a downpayment on a 2022 Corvette Stingray 1LT and even though I Love the car it doesnt have NPP valves so it only goes up to Sport mode in the exhaust settings so I'm going to add a Corsa 3.0 catback with AFM valves and make this Car loud enough to hear when I'm driving it and I only drive my Vette to the grocery store which is only 4 miles away and my daily is a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 limited slt so I think I am set up ok. ;) Mark~
You seem like a fun guy, and that comes across on your video. If you’re worried about mileage, and paying for premium gas then you shouldn’t buy a Vette. Still, it’s pretty good mileage for a car that can get near 200mph. I put 91k miles on my C6, and I will rack up some fun and daily driving miles on my new C8 too. When you get to Heaven are you going to say “I’m so glad I didn’t put too many miles on that C8”. I think not…
I agree completely. Luckily we have a manufacturer warranty that covers everything for the first 3 years. I bought an extended warranty just to be safe, hopefully I don’t experience any problems with mine! Thank you for the comment and support💯

If you can’t afford the gas to daily drive, then you definitely can’t afford the car.
Oh I can afford to daily drive, but I don’t think it’s smart to daily drive an $80,000 vehicle
