For sure man, it was such a pleasure to show you around the park and create these collab videos! I had a blast out there with you. Definitely something we need to do again in the future! 🤔
Your new "Favorite Photo" is truly a capture for all time. I felt my eyes filling with tears at the pure and raw emotion in the two bears. The fact that is was 399 is certainly a plus, but the genuineness of the bears' feelings is what makes this a photo for the ages. Well done, Evan!
Wow, thank you! I’m glad it had such a positive effect on you. I agree, that raw emotion is so powerful... and it’s all thanks to the bears for letting us have a peek into their lives.
Thank you for capturing 399 and her cub! We tried all summer hoping to catch a glimpse of precious 399. No luck, so I sobbed at viewing your video of her! You are very talented and it’s easy to feel your passion for your work! Thank you!!
What an amazing photo of 399! I was just in Yellowstone in early June photographing all types of wildlife. It's an amazing place and we return there as much as we can. Living outside of Nashville, TN it's quite a long round-trip. We bring an RV to Fishing Bridge when we go and it's our home base for the time we are there. My wife and I have traveled all over the place including Antarctica and the Grand Tetons / Yellowstone remain as our favorite destination. I feel at home there and am already missing it just a month after returning home to Tennessee.
What a beautiful moment. This photo got to me and I knew I had to buy this photo. Which I did and I got it. It looks beautiful on my wall. Thank you so much🙂
Incredible video and photos! It's really impressive how old that bear is! Amazing photo of the 399 bear and her cub! We really need to protect this bear at all costs! Thank you for this incredible video!
Why this bear? Because she makes herself available along the roads of Grand Teton? We need to protect ALL grizzly bears in the Yellowstone/Grand Teton ecosystem!
@@alansach8437 Yes that's true. We need to protect all the bears! I was just talking specifically about this bear because it was the main subject of the video.
Congratulations Evan on the picture of 399 with her cub! That is a one in a million shot and I am so happy for you! I totally know the feelings you have while being able to photograph 399 because l also was lucky enough to photograph her with her 4 cubs in August 2020. It was one of the most exhilarating and heartwarming day of my life!
Thank you! She’s such an amazing bear, that’s awesome that you got to photograph her with the 4 when they were COYs. What an incredible experience that must’ve been!
That’s got to be the best job anyone could have. I can’t imagine being there taking photos of these beautiful animals in their natural habitation amazing. That photo is priceless, beautiful ❤️❤️
This is just an outstanding photo of emotion, every emotion. I was so afraid we may not see 399 again. I was on pins and needles until she emerged. As far as her cub, he is also beautiful, I have an inkling he is going to be a big one!
Congrats on seeing 399 and what an amazing photo 👍🏻 My niece was out there and saw her first Grizzly , in fact 14 including 399. I can’t wait for my September trip. Keep the videos coming. Tnx
Great video to watch with a cup of coffee. Your videos of wildlife are getting really good. And that’s hard to do. Your stills of wildlife are still amazing. Glad you got that photo of 399!
Hello 👋 my outdoors friend, sincere thanks for sharing this beautifully filmed video. I'm glad that you got the epic photograph of 399 and her cub. All the best to you. Stay safe out there. 🤗
thank you for commenting back to me on your last video I am exited for elk love the pics and videos i am now geting into photagraphy because of your videos!
Great video. I was there last month and photographed 399. When I first saw her, she was way out in the meadow and the cub was hidden in the tall grass. They finally made their way towards the road and she gave me a 2 second window where she looked me in the eye enabling me to get my photo.
Wow - how incredible! Congratulations!! I'm obsessed with 399 and her offspring, but I've never gotten to see any of them. My son lives in Jackson Hole so when I'm there I'm always hopeful that I will have that chance. The photo you captured is priceless!
This video got me in tears. Thank you so much for sharing this moment. 399 was the first Grizzly bear I ever saw, back in 2019 when I traveled to the US. I had no idea who she was back then, but since learned about her and I feel so blessed I got to see her
I get it, that feeling that level of emotion when seeing something so incredible and managing to get not just a record shot but a great image. I loved your video, your images and your storytelling, Have a great summer!
Beautiful video photography! Especially loved the views of the Lamar Valley and seeing the familiar landscape. That's my "go-to" in Yellowstone. However, every place you brought your camera to seemed exceptional!
Epic images of 399 and her cub, Watts. I got goose bumps when I saw your photos of 399 standing up. I would have never left you knowing how well you know the area. I once left a grove of trees that 399 and her cubs were in after waiting 3 hours. Within a half hour of me leaving they came out and headed directly towards where I was waiting. I learned my lesson. I really enjoyed your video. I’ll be patiently waiting for your next download.
Thank you 🙏 I’m glad you enjoyed. Man, that’s the worst… it happens to the best of us! Good luck on your next trip, and thank you again for your support.
At the 12:58 mark, I was applauding and crying! I saw your photo on Instagram when this encounter first happened, but I loved watching this behind the scenes video. I love that your heart was pounding. Your photo of 399 is now my favorite photo of her!
Awesome story bud. I remember seeing that photo on Facebook. I barely missed her back in June when I was there. I know someone very familiar with her and there was no confirmation that she made it back into the park to den last fall so like everyone else I waited not sure what to expect in the spring. Hope she and the cub stay safe since she is out of the park again.
Thanks for sharing. Awesome photos. Was in Yellowstone/Grand Tetons about 3 weeks ago but didn’t get 399. We were able to see 610 and her 3 cubs at right before Jackson lake. We watched her and shot photos and video for about 45 minutes. It was so awesome. What lens are you shooting?
Amazing, the Tetons are my favorite destination in the US and you have taken the best pics I have seen. Congratulations on capturing 399 and her cub. Just curious, when they stood up did you flip your camera to landscape? Thx.

What an amazing shot. Well done. My fav wildlife shot is the first one that made me feel like a wildlife photographer... I haven't topped it yet because I haven't been able to focus much on wildlife, but I can only imagine getting a shot like that after putting in years of study and effort.
