Hi, Dustin! What about CPU load with Avaya camera in Zoom or other video conferencing software vs old camera? Reading the specs I’ve noticed that Avaya HC020 has h.264 encoding onboard, so starting with Windows 8 windows can recognize and pass this feature to software that use the camera.
I have the same problem with the delay on mine. Ironic that your old logitec didn't have the delay issue but looks more blown out. Pretty disappointing considering all the great reviews I read before purchasing. Is there anything I can do to solve the delay issue?
Hi Yingzhi Liang - Thanks for watching! I have tested my setup and I have the camera connected to my laptop with the USB for running video calls to see the remote attendees. I have the HDMi connected to a second monitor that give a full screen of my own view. Hope this helps.
Thanks for watching Carlos M! The Avaya HC020 camera has a usb connection - you can use it with any video calling platform that you can select a connected camera. I use Avaya Spaces for my video calls - no software to download for my PC, and a really good price point. There's a free trial here: bit.ly/2W1kZFF
@@dustinlaidsaar8513 I saw the HC020 on B&H's website and the product description reads "Designed for use with Avaya XT hardware or the Equinox client..." That description may be why people are concerned about whether it will work with various applications. Bottom line, it's a webcam and does what webcams do.
@@dustinlaidsaar8513 is it possible to reduce the quality of the camera to increase the frame rate? Wasnt trying to be overcritical, I just ordered one and after seeing this, this a big concern for me.
@@dustinlaidsaar8513 I am in desperate need of a a webcam and the pandemic has my usual go to Logitech sold out - found your review help, but this is what I'm worried about . . . so the frame rate is fine when NOT using QuickTime to do screen capture??
Thanks for watching @McPerfectlyUnperfect In hindsight I found out that QuickTime only records at 10fps!!! My video here doesn’t do justice the the camera’s actual frame rate - I’ll have to record a follow-up “using the Avaya HC020 after x-months video! 🤔
Hi Hanna, thanks for watching and subscribing 😀 There was a new update at the end of May that might help, it adds H.264 4Kp30 resolution, and disable the hdmi by default You can find it here - bit.ly/3dPd06n I have changed some of the settings for manual exposure for frame rates. I've not used zoom for a conference call yet, wondering if some of the lag is due to connectivity to the conference call?
What was with the Avaya frame rate ? Were you using USB 2 ?
Hi Dustin! I can't get the FOCUS to work... there's no difference if I hit AUTO, FAR, NEAR or MANUAL.... Do you have any ideas to fix this?
How does compare with the HuddlecamHD Pro and the Brio for following facial recognition?

Hi Dustin, my Avaya HC020 does not work with hdmi, even after I changed the setting to allow hdmi connection. Do you have the same problem?

The frame rate is garbage
Thanks for watching Astin Powell, yeah I don’t really show off the full quality - using QuickTime as a screen capture really messed up the frame rate.

When will you do the video with the Konftel OCC adapter?
