I am hunting for a wireless alternative. My wife has the Jabra Evolve 75 (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071VQTRST/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which when I have a call with her, she sounds fantastic, regardless of the mayhem that is ensuring around her (i.e. Barking Dogs, Screaming Kids, Loud TV, etc.). I'd get this headset, but I was looking for more of an EarBud type of product that doubles in the gym, on hikes, bike rides, snowboarding, or any other activity I'd like to get into. Any recommendations out there?

I could use some advice. I'm assisting a 93 year old man who is very hard of hearing. He needs a headset with a 3.5 mm jack for a flip phone (no bluetooth, no smart phone) with good volume and really good noise cancelling on the earpieces. Volume controls on the cord, not on the headset (he is nearly blind and couldn't use controls in the headset). Extremely simple to use. Plug and play, no software, etc. I've seen many like this on the net, but I don't know if the noise cancelling is only on the mouthpiece, on the boom or both. Noise cancelling on both is good, but on the earpieces is mandatory. He is on the phone a lot, and this would be life changing for him, as he can now barely hear the people calling him. We have to stand next to him and shout out what they are saying on his phone, or he was not understands about 10% of what is said Thanks!!!!!

Hi, Dustin! What about CPU load with Avaya camera in Zoom or other video conferencing software vs old camera? Reading the specs I’ve noticed that Avaya HC020 has h.264 encoding onboard, so starting with Windows 8 windows can recognize and pass this feature to software that use the camera.

How does compare with the HuddlecamHD Pro and the Brio for following facial recognition?

I really enjoyed using headset with microphone from Ez Voice because I love singing from Karaoke.

I use theBoom E when I'm in my car, home office, and café. My upstairs neighbor plays the piano and the streets of San Francisco can get really noisy during the day. These headsets have microphones that were mainly design for the military so as soon as I heard two pilot friends of mine talking about the headsets they use for their loud cockpit I knew I had to get me a set to match my busy city life style. I have the same problem with the delay on mine. Ironic that your old logitec didn't have the delay issue but looks more blown out. Pretty disappointing considering all the great reviews I read before purchasing. Is there anything I can do to solve the delay issue?

Hi Dustin, my Avaya HC020 does not work with hdmi, even after I changed the setting to allow hdmi connection. Do you have the same problem?

Great video Dusty. Spot on, not only council work, but planes, helicopters, dog barking, definitively useful to have a headset with the microphone noise cancelling option.

I'm not working as a contact centre agent. But I'm still on way too many large conference calls every day. I've invested in the Plantronics Voyager Focus and have been quite happy with it. The Avaya L159 looks pretty sweet though. It looks very light weight, which would be important for keeping this thing on your head for hours.
