Blake being so comfortable with saying how she feels makes sense. She loves reading romance (she had a book at the beginning with "Ninjas In Love" or something similar) so naturally it'll be easier for her to ADMIT how she feels. It might have taken some time since she had past relationship trauma but I think this version of Blake was the Blake BEFORE Adam got to her. She said she was like Ruby. I think she might have become cynical but deep down she always craved to live the life of someone from the books she read 😅 Edit: By beginning, I mean in Vol 1 (I think) when they were moving into their dorms
17:36 What they're all thinking at that moment: Yang and Blake: "Quick, let's take our clothes off before they... oh, they're back... nevermind." Juniper: "Daaaaamn!!!!!!!!" Weiss: "It's finally happening and it's beautiful and I missed the build-up for it all because of that stupid cat." Also Weiss: "You and I are next, Ruby Rose." Ruby: "Damnit, I just lost that bet with Nora." Nora somewhere in Remnant: "My Nora senses are tingling. Somebody owes me money!" Little: "Is the blonde girl a mouse or why is the cat girl eating her?" Jaune: the same as about 85% of the fandom.
Ruby isn't oblivious, she was aware on the airship after Blake and Yang killed Adam. Ruby has been very preoccupied with saving Remnant after Blake mentioned in the elevator on the way to meet Ironwood that everyone would follow her lead, dumping ALL the responsibility on Ruby just so Yang could start questioning her decisions. Ruby is drowning, and her friends are oblivious.
Ruby wanted that responsibility, desperate to be the Hero she saw herself as until her inability to deal with loss, broke her, causing her to lash out. They acepted her as the Leader but underestimated how fragile she had become after V8, which was arguably for plot reasons only. Just saying that this was all their fault, ignores all the times Yang asked Ruby if she was okay and got ignored
@@WalterWhite-jz7ct asking someone in difficulty, who is CLEARLY not ok, if they are okay is a way to avoid helping, and Yang figured that out by asking in the finale "What's wrong?" And I do not think Ruby wanted ALL the responsibility, but someone had to step up on the train as Qrow was not helping, so she just assumed control, and she had no idea how to ask for help. And Ruby nevered answered yes to the ok question, but Yang never followed up. And Oz told her she was BURDENED with being a leader, and she can NEVER take that badge off and had to ALWAYS be at her best. Fragile for plot?
@@jeffreysmith236 She is a Child who never dealt with anything in the series. The loss of her Mother, the Fall of Beacon, Pyrrhas Death, Pennys death (TWICE), Yangs Arm, Blake leaving, Qrows near death and fall from grace after Oz lied to him, the WHOLE V8, including figuring out what happend to her mother... that last scene in V8 tells you everything, when Yang started to cry and Ruby sounded a million miles away, close to apathetic. She has serious issues just going up to ANYONE and ask "Can I talk about...?" Now the fact that team RWBY basicaly let this happen is for Plot, plain and simple, Yang beeing the only exeption becasue she basically raised her and wanted to let go of that role to let her become the Person she wanted to be She did want the responsibility and the burden because thats how she was raised, in the faulty believe that the Leader has to be perfect and unbreakable, ergo, she doesn't alow herself to do so until her fragile mind hit the limit of youth and inexperience I do agree that she doesn't know HOW to ask for help because... who could have taught her? Yang doesn't because she stubborn, Blake would only as a last reort and run long before that and Weiss was far to proud to do so
There has been alot of discussion on just how long Jaune was there in the Ever After, but when he comments about his time with Lewis and Alyx he references the fact that they were from BEFORE the way. Which means upwards of 80 years or more.
13:46: That Face of "Oh shit we doing this for real?"
I love that Jaune named his Jackalope mount "Juniper" (JNPR)
THEY MADE THAT FIRST KISS COUNT!
great scene!
Jaune stumbled on a literal Clockwork Orange.
Btw at 9:18 when they go through the rift u can see summer rose in rubys reflection
Weiss has a thing. Tall, blonde, blue-eyed, 40 year old knights. And Jaune no longer tolerates teenage girls talking.

Alyx's brother Lewis.....as in Lewis Carroll, the actual author of Alice in Wonderland.
