Hey, this is a bit of a late comment relative to the upload date, but I thought I might ask here anyways. Is Fusion 360 something I would benefit from learning while it's accessible to me for free as a student? or would it be worse to have to switch off from that after learning it because I can't afford it? or am I just overthinking what CAD I use?

I think it was a very good explanation, thanks!

Would Form be what I'd use to make a Lilly Impeller?

I had to google it. I don't think so. For a form like that, your going to generally be thinking of some kind of helical shape. Fusion has these - but like most CAD systems - you can't easily make them variable....they are usually just simple spirals in 3D space.....there are a couple of ways to construct a shape like this - but to tell the truth, that would need to be a whole separate video. (Perhaps I'll do one, one day.) Google for variable helix or something like that - perhaps you needn't wait on me!
