These were very popular on the REAR of fire engines and are still used in cities with large fleets that have older engines with low usage and still living its shelf life
I've seen some of these ultra short Advantage (rotator) and Edge (strobe) bars on fire apparatus years ago in my area before they all went to LED. They were usually on the back where beacons would be. They would usually have a few strobes or a rotator plus a halogen flasher and worklight/alley,

Also a really good way to have a "modern" beacon with directional color patterning, ie boston (blue front, red rear, white sides)
I love the last lightbar. The cascading mirrors give it a strobe effect. Well, at least to me. 🤭🤭
