When I romanced Gale I also played a sorcerer (draconic bloodline), but I went with the ending where we get married and he becomes a teacher at Waterdeep. I like to think she occasional visits while he's teaching and does sorcerer things, just to get a rise out of the would be wizard students. Meanwhile Gale is standing there shaking his head, going "Gods help me", but he secretly loves it.
I like how this game allows you to have some sorts of multiple enemies to lovers : Gale as a sorcerer. Shadow heart as a Selunite Cleric/Paladin or Lae'Zel. Astarion as a Oath of the Ancients Paladin. Lae'Zel as Shadowheart. Halsin as a Drow. Minthara as a High-Elf. Karlach and Wyll as each others.
I never romanced Gale so I was absolutely flabbergasted to see the whole ghost fucking scene but I’m so glad I was able to see it for the first time with that editing
I am a true Astarion and Karlak fan girl but Gales reaction to Tav licking the spider will always be my favorite interaction in this game outside of the sheer sass of nuking Asterion with the sun death laser.
I love the 'I could've managed it myself' option. I think you must get the option with any spellcasting class. For some reason it felt extra funny saying it as a bard.

I have a gith storm sorcerer romancing Gale, it's all fucking egos and beliefs clashing and clanking against each other. She still didn't leave Gale to breathe in peace for a second in the beginning either lmfaooo
Add a dash of Cleric of Mystra into this glorious mix and you can have some wonderful snark in regards to Gales relationship with Mystra including asking him not to sully your goddess further.

This armour is from mod Extra Gear on Nexus (link in description). I don't remeber the exact name of it but this is some kind of drow armour variation. I Installed it before patch 7 so I don't know if this still working after new patch
I am a never finisher. I always start over. The only time I made it through was because I kept chanting get dat ring. I did rogue stuff. He taught school. 😂 amazing. I have such a hard time not falling for his awkwardness. Like damn you're not my husband in this playthrough. Sttttoooopppp.
That's how I'm going about things as well. Never got to the end with my past characters. But I just never end up sticking with anything but sorcerers. What can I say, I'm addicted to magic and I love the sass.
I’m much the same with Bards, have had a couple of them and it’s just so much fun. Tried a Durge Sorcerer for the first time in my last playthrough… enjoyed it just as much
@celestebigaignon6054 Did they fix the concersation with Gale where he asks if you're not versed in magic and as a bard you can only say "no, I'm not" by now? I find that too insulting. Since when are bards not full spellcasters, and in fact they are also learned, just in a different way.
I am also playing a Wild Magic Sorcerer!!! I unfortunately dont have Gale in my party as I failed to get him out of the portal (since I failed my Strength rolls) but if I did have him in my party and my character had to hear his 0:36 reply she'd waste no time wanting to launch him right back into the portal. 😂 Maybe in my next playthrough (if I'm lucky enough to get Gale), I think he and my character would get along (Gale sass aside). I could see them as the type of friends who spends hours in a library in deep research. I should also add my character is a sage.
This is so funny because in my playthrough as a sorcerer my character keeps beefing with Gale he keeps belittling me since he’s a “wizard” 😭 then they make out, but then after that I left him for Wyll, then he got kidnapped by Orin… so I didn’t even rush to save him coz I think that’s what my character would do 💀
