I was in the federal penal system at FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania. As well as FCI El Reno in Oklahoma. And I can tell you that we never had a policy where we’re allowed to do what we want even behind closed doors. It was an automatic removal for any type of drug in the federal system When I was there. We weren’t even allowed to smoke tobacco, unless it was actual real tobacco and not chew. anything to change or alter minds whether it’s in ourselves in the units or on the yard we’re not allowed to take part in. You must be thinking about the state system where when the doors closed you’re allowed allowed to drink and get high but as long as your suit and boot it by the next morning, and don’t let that interfere with the program, then it’s OK, that’s what people get confused about the state in federal system at least when I was there from 2016 to 2020.
