  • Well conditions weren't perfect for fishing, but they were good enough to get out and wet a line, so I headed over to fish the Holderness coast in search of a nice Haddock or Codling for tea.
Hope you enjoy the video, thanks for watching, take car and tight lines
    Alex

I hate changing marks unless I'm on a boat, so I'd have stuck with Hornsea. Great to see you catch some fish. but here's hoping your efforts are rewarded in the next couple of weeks with that monster cod!

The fishing seems to have dropped off on the Holderness at the minute. If you get lucky, there are fish, its just finding them, lol
    Great vid as always Alex

Fished hornsea last weekend in the open match Northside landed a nice 3lb cod on blacks and squid just before top tide.i live in hull Paull is good for fishing when it a big tide and no wind that's why south Bank is better with the wind behind you.enjoy Sunday viewing of your trips.

Hiya Alex, hope your ok, +you`ve just caught more fish off the beach than I`ve had on my last four trips over to the east coast 🙆‍♂, I`ve upgraded (on the advice from Gerry`s) from the £25 Boyes special, which to be honest served its purpose of getting me going again, to a Tronixpro Banzai LC - Surf 8000 and a PENN Wrath II Surfcast 13ft so hopefully they will help me to get a bit more distance, can`t wait to try them out

The river has been mostly fishing fairly poor in the last few weeks and might be better to stay at the coast. I dont think the storms have helped much this winter. Nice flatties

It's been weird on the holderness this winter, you either catch loads or nothing. And there's been hardly any whiting I was getting 20 plus a session regular last year

Ya know whats funny, most of put more effort into making a fish bait look amazing, with all them flavours in there, perfectly presented, and using the finest fresh ingredients......... Yet we go home and cba making food, so grab a pot noodle or throw some scran together hahahaah
