“Make your waiting room your classroom!” Is so incredibly simple but WOW! What a concept. Land prices are high where we are in Maryland and I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to have my actual homestead but I’ve had the mentality of “homestead where you’re home” for a little over a year now and it’s given me and my family so much drive. Our next step is the chickens! Thanks as always Jenilee! Sending love from my family of 6 from Maryland! ❤
For some reason I know came across your channel today and let me tell you I subscribed IMMEDIATELY!!! I LOVE your inspiration, ideas and content. I am looking forward to watching your older videos while awaiting new ones. God bless!!! 💞🙏🏼💞
I love this video, Jenilee! These are great suggestions for learning greater self-reliance. Thank you for your encouragement. I really look forward to implementing these ideas when we settle down again. Love you!😘
So much Great advice! I love that you stress we shouldn’t wait! There are so many awesome books you can read and videos to watch that can jump start your learning which you will be thanking yourself for later!! There really is so much we can do! Go meet your local farmers!! ❤
Yea and remember not to over stress your self with all the things you want to do. But to start simply and with one thing at a time. You will defiantly be thanking your self later.
I've been wanting to learn sourdough! Also, your homemade salsa looked amazing!! Feel free to do a video on your recipe! :D Really love the "waiting room is a learning room" concept - especially with learning how to process milk now. I feel like we did the opposite and got the goat before we learned to process the milk. Our first season with them in milk, we ended up feeding most of the milk back to livestock because we were already at capacity just learning how to work with the goats. Love how you guys are going about it! Love your advice throughout this. Also - didn't realize the kitchenaid had a wheatgrinder! Awesome!
About the salsa, I have the recipe in my subscribers Library. I will give you the link. Its actually a fresh tomato ebook I made. I didn't realize i hadn't put it in the video. So i will fix that. thepioneerhome.com/welcome-to-my-subscribers-library/ Let me know if you have any struggles with getting into it, and i'll be happy to help! Kudos! for jumping into goats! We feel like we need to start with some goats too. So maybe you can give me some tips. So glad your here!
First time I’ve watched you! You are so precious and beautiful inspiration! I’ve been on this very journey for many years and still learning. I totally enjoyed your gentle approach. Thank you and may God richly bless you and your family💜
So I've had mine for so long. I think I picked mine up at costco a while back. But I am thinking up signing up for azure standard. As they have some other grain varieties I want to get.

Thank you for such kind feedback. May God bless you and yours as well!
Where do you purchase your wheat berries from?
most people buy them from Azure Standard for all their grains, oats and so on.
So I've had mine for so long. I think I picked mine up at costco a while back. But I am thinking up signing up for azure standard. As they have some other grain varieties I want to get.
