Hey dude, I've been a fan since the civic rolled in, never missed a video since then. I don't usulay comment stuff, but I did the same rear camera mounting mistake as you probably just did. I routed camera cable trough the number plate light thingy and since it broke the seal, now humidity comes in and it ruined my bulb connector (cause of corossion). I'd highly recommend you to put some silicone on the parts whele you drilled trough, couse winter might be hard on it.

I put a 7 inch android stereo in my truck a few years back. One of the things I did that not everybody does is a custom launcher for my apps. I have my car manufacturer logo as the wallpaper and a clean screen as the Home screen. All the apps I use on a regular basis are on the second and third screens. Also, I have a bunch of movies saved to a USB drive and cam able to watch movies on the head unit. It gives my passengers something to watch on long drives.

I have the same exact model in my BRZ and i love it. Morning commutes I put my phone on a wireless charger, create a hotspot, then simply connect and create a WiFi connection. Load up a good youtube video then im off. It's not as distracting as I thought it would be and is very nice for long drives. Hell, even apps such as Sling and RUclips TV are available too, so while stuck in traffic I can watch live TV. Pretty damn nice.
It's so "crisp" because that's a QLED screen. :) You make me want to try this head unit now! Love your videos Robbie, can't wait for Jasmine.

I don't know if they sell a screen protector, but I feel like this is something worth getting one for or making some DIY one somehow. Your dash is still fresh and it'd suck to see the screen get scratched after cleaning it or something. Really dope mod though, it's like you've upgraded the interior/quality of life to a premium trim.
Happy birthday! The Frs did come with a double din touch screen similar to yours with the premium sounds package. I got it on mine and was disappointed by the same lagging issues yours had.

my 2013 FRS has a stock touchscreen, looks super similar to yours
The Scion one actually does come with a touch screen head unit too and it’s not that laggy
Yeah the monogram edition and 10 series got a pioneer touchscreen. Mine's pretty quick, never any lag. And it has NAV too

you should get an OEM Audio+ subwoffer and amp package for the BRZ
FR-S' have a touch screen also. Depends what options/year but my 2016 has it standard.

Yo robbie, check out Uber stealth audio for a sleek box. Mines actually under the carpet, and wraps around the spare tire where the foam was. High quality stuff.
Robbie should get a oem audio plus sub fits well in everything else I’ve seen
They have three legit options that fit the trunk well, oem plus is stupid expensive. He could get the JL Audio one for instance

Bro since the brz is going to be a show car you should find someone (or build one yourself 🙂) to do a custom system set-up in the trunk so you have that nice bass and it looks good
3:00 I have 2013 FRS, it have Touchscreen almost identical to the BRZ, but the head unit is from Pioneer. Also as slow as the one in the BRZ before he swap it.
hey robbie!! it would be a good idea to take ur cold air intake off ur truck and clean the box price and also use ur compressor and blow all the gunk off! just a tip! i do this all the time with my dads ram 3500 limited
I've got a backup camera that replaces one of the licence plate lights (still got an led for the plate), it so much cleaner than the square ones, barley even notice it.

My 2016 scion frs has the 7" touch screen in it but I don't have a cd player which would be nice because I have a couple of cds that are very rare but I wanna upgrade my head unit as soon as I can
