  • Today we drag some tools out to the orchard and start wrenching on the old ‘49 John Deere Mc Crawler. This was my grandpas tractor that was used for years to maintain our almond orchard. It was Parked about 20 years ago when the left hub failed. Time to get to work and see WILL IT RUN!?

I would so clean out the gas tank, replace the fuel lines and filter, rebuild the carb and replace the points, wires and plugs. Fix that hub and drive it

Used to have one of these MC crawlers on the farm in New Zealand. Had a blade on it and did a lot of leveling for fence lines with it. A good light fun machine with the John Deere popping sound.
