For many of us in UK the first we saw of Gerrie Coetzee was him getting knocked out in a round by our Frank Bruno. I had no idea he had such a long and distinguished career before he faced Bruno and was a champion. Excellent fighter and man. I would love to see this movie when it comes out.
I'd drop everything to watch Gerrie featured in a movie, great gentleman. An honor to be spoken so greatly by former Mrs Ali and everything she says is an understatement about what Gerrie stood for.

Loved Gerrie Coatzee he took lots of risks in there and that’s what made him a popular fighter in that golden era the 1980’s. His performance against Dokes in 83 was awesome. Still think a prime Coetzee beats Frank Bruno 🥊
