Knox, att 8:44 you picked-up on 'ladder' in the money game, with the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" visual, but you missed a UK-centric bombshell. The guy portrayed on the still cheated on set to win the million Pounds, by having someone in the audiance coughing the answers. What makes it even more scandalous is that the guy was an Officer in the British Army -- a class of person oft regarded as beyond reproach!
Edit to add: At 13:57, "tell lies out the gate", most certainly refers to Watergate, and the multitude of ****gate's that we have experienced since Tricky Dicky made it a political norm.

Something I found out recently, the tounge twister she sells sea shells is about an actual person. Mary Anning sold shells and fossils to make end meet in the south of England but went on to become probably the top expert of fossils but because she was a woman she didn't get the recognition she deserved but even the top academics of the time would go to her for advice

The only artist who impacted me in any way remotely like Ren was Syd Barrett but he fell victim to extreme mental health issues so his potential was never realized except through what Pink Floyd became without him.
I don't know rap well enough to judge Eyedea's music but the two tracks I listened to of his did not really impact me. I shall have to reserve any judgement until I become more acquainted with this genre.

The "sell time to a clock" line is deep as well as funny. There's a saying with some truth in it that 'man is the measure of all things' and in a certain sense we don't have time, we are time, yet taking time for ourselves/ away from work is an opportunity cost, hence selling time to a clock.

Trip this: Ren is following a lot of the elements he mentions in pushing his own music, BUT he's also turning it on it's head because he's intentionally doing it in a way that doesn't exploit others--he's created a symbiotic relationship between himself and reactors with the goal of raising *all* boats, not just his own. And it is working admirably.

It's not just that, but the way that you really SEE things, what most people miss. For you it's not just about listening, but the layers and WHY of something. You think quick, have no problem looking at something again, and give your honest opinion on something. So thank you again, I love watching your videos.
