It`s over 30 years since I first heard it....and it`s still going now. That and a singular scream of feedback in Jimi`s Johnny B Good at Berkley....just incredible noise.

Alex I love the Jimi spirit that drives you.
You understand his music and more and more you understand his timing. Most people underestimate the timing in his music. Jimi had a perfect ear, what he could hear, the most people don't have the ability to hear that.
I don’t even see it as an option for me to not learn this, you have no idea how much I’ve wished somebody would do a video on this, i learned hear my train a comin from you and if it takes me months I’ll learn this too. Not even an option for me I have to play this song

A seminal piece of Jimi and something I consider to be the finest live electric guitar performance of all time. The control he had over the feedback was effortless when you look at the recording (sadly on the, new at the time, terrible B&W video format vs color film).
Anyway, the entire song is essentially a solo. A masterpiece.

Last year i started learning midnight from hendrix (on the lp south saturn delta)
I found this really good cover on youtube from a guy, but a week after i found it it was flagged and the video was shut down..
Baceazu i was so impressed with his cover, i actually reached out to him to ask if he could send me the video so i could keep learning it.
He told me he would upload it on dailymotion with a pasword so he could keep it private and it wont be flagged..then disaster striked and a week or 3 later i was in the hospital with my back... Now a year later finally i can start playing guitar again ,..So i decided jup lets take on midnight again..
But the video has been taken down..And my mails have been removed so i have no idea how to contact the guy or reache out to him ..
So i lost my instruction video..
So here is my question , would you like to make one of midnight? it would be so amazing and i would be forever gratefull..
I really wonna learn the song but its jsut to hard for me to do on ear just from the record alone :)

You almost got it. Remember Jimi played in front of the note. Your behind the note. Good try tho. Jimi knew things that you wished you knew.
