- I was lucky enough to get a ride in pumaspeeds race car with their newly developed x57r turbo. its brutal fast. im not a very good car reviewer but i had a great time so thanks for watching.
Bloody hell 420bhp in a Fiesta on the road. Absolutely rediculous. The bloke driving looks like he can't see over the dash. Did he have a licence? What an absolute beast of a car.
Total waste of power, got 420 and can only use half
I am pretty sure they solved that mostly. I saw for example a 300 whp fiesta doing around 4 s 0-60. It's definitely not a waste of power. Would it be better as a RWD? Maybe. But here you have the advantage of less power train losses, so it's actually not that bad
Those race seats on the rails needed to fit them sit super low
The turbo noise of that is nuts.
that turbo flutter is amazing
3:28 not many other hobbies give you that much excitement
I actually can't wrap my head around how fast this must be. Mine with 330ish is mental, another 100bhp must be verging on supercar level performance (when it gets grip)
Spoolie ST so u had your car on dyno now if so mate I told u u would see 320/330hp so I was right
@@x58evo2puma7 not yet mate it's got a vacuum leak. The guy that I bought the turbo off made 303whp with it. Hopefully getting it dynod next month
Spoolie ST that a lot mate mine didn’t made that I made 270whp so if u can get that power that would be very good on power but anyway mate u will be happy with the results when u put on dyno

I can’t believe pumaspeed done it again I have pumaspeed and mine is running 340hp and mine is mega fast I wouldn’t like what this beast is like this must have upgraded engine to get this sort of power but I love 💕 the sound it makes I hope this new turbo sell well going to be expensive but well done 👍 pumaspeed

Why is there so many negative comments. Take any car slap a big turbo and a built engine and more than double the standard power of course it's going to be wild. Is this not why we do it in the first place because we are wild in car culture and love crazy builds. Bet anyone who went in this would love it after the first gear change. Less the BS get on and enjoy what's been created

Dan, that car is incredible. But there is a car in East Yorkshire mk6 fiesta, running 500+bhp as an every day runner.

Hi Steve.. going to comment on ur van on this post.. the van is from Walsall.. the guy was seeing someone s wife who took a dislike to it.. the person is ok as he wouldn’t come out the house while the van was getting done over.. the back door was drilled as it got broken Into previously

The head office must of got it from there then but the rest of there Renault fleet is from arval with the same kitted out spec

I'd expect in a road car the noise would be damped down a lot. You could also run an airbox instead of an open filter and I'd guess that would make it very tame for noise.
@@Sparkplugsteve Just watched it a few more times and its growing on me lol. Think I'll get either x47r or a s280 not sure if that makes as much noise or not. Do pumaspeed do a map for the s280?

I'm pretty sure it's a built motor but not sure on the specs.
Yes it must be bec stock engine u only can boost these up round about 350 any thing after that u must change the tunnels

You messed up the camera footage of the camera facing the road with the wiper right in front of it couldn't seen nowt of the road lol
when i set the camera there was no wiper on the car. he fitted it after and i didnt check but it did ruin the footage sadly
