- For many years, inspired by Walt Disney, I’ve been making my own animatronic!
Using 3D modeling, 3D printing, DC and servo motors, gears, ball bearings, bolts and nuts, I’m creating and assembling all parts of the figure: eyes mechanism, hands mechanism, neck mechanism using a Stewart Platform, and much more.
I am also creating all the electronic circuits and printed circuits boards (PCB), using microcontrollers, CPLDs, and other electronic components that are required to drive servo motors, drive LEDs, drive NeoPixel strips.
I am also developing my own animatronic animation software application for animatronic control of the figure’s actuators through keyframing and interpolation.
So if you are passionate about electronics, robotics, software programming, and want to know how to get into animatronics, you’ve come to the right place! Welcome to AnimaMaestro!

Amazing work! I'm so excited to see behind the scenes on this! And man, what great stuff you've built so far!
Thank you! Really appreciate! Let me know which video series you would like to see next!
your work is amazing, thank you for making this! quick history note: animatronics were actually around for a couple decades before Disney (or centuries if we include automata). Disney coined the term audio-animatronic in 1961 for development of the Enchanted Tiki Room which debuted in 1963.
Thanks ! You are right, some existed before, and among automata, my favorite is definitely La Joueuse de tympanon. I guess I just mentioned Disney because they are my first inspiration and also very well known ! But thanks for pointing that out !
You have an amazing project! There it is a lot of work and talent, keep it up!
Thank you very much!
I really like your video! Don't let go, I can't wait to watch the next ones that you will post online!
Thanks very much! New videos will be coming every Wednesday!
This is great! Hat's off to you sir for putting so much time and detail into this project! This seems super complex!
Yeah, there is a lot of stuff involved but I see it like LEGOs: a lot of not so complex bricks assembled to make something bigger!
Super intro! J'ai hâte de voir la suite.
Merci! Prochain vidéo: mercredi prochain!
Animatronic design is a niche community I did not expect to end up in at 2 am. I'm here to stay.
Welcome to the channel !!
Wow! Gilles! C'est extrêmement bien fait! Bravo! J'aime beaucoup ton approche didactique!
Merci !! C'est gentil !!
nice
I would pay real human monies for this if you made it available.
Hi everyone! Let me know what are your favorites Disney animatronics!
this comment is pretty cheesy but i just gotta say it: this is incredible!! i'm so excited to watch this series, and the amount of work and time you put into this is super inspiring! i'm just getting started with making animatronics, and i don't even know how to express how amazing you are. Making your own software AND designing and creating your own circuit boards ??!! that's so insane (in a good way)!! my point is, this is super cool and i'm so excited to follow along and start this journey!
Thank you so much!!
Hey matthew! Im learning as wel, I completly agree with your comment. I hope the series is coming back soon
hi Henry
wow, real inpressif work, thad means thad you have a new sup on your channel!!!
i have 2 questions:
1. will this controller be for sale?
2. will it suport air powerd cilinders for bigger movements?
Thanks for subscribing ! I am working on a lighter version of the whole system that will potentially be available to buy for hobbyists. I have never worked with hydraulics or pneumatics but I will take a look !
@@AnimaMaestro thanks dor responding. I hope thad this video series is going to help aut cus i am wanting to build animatronics for a few years but never started.
WHO can I buy animaltronic stuff?
