Besides the usual Disney character platform action this game has one special feature. Depending on whether you play with Mickey and Donald in 2P Mode, Mickey Solo or Donald Solo the game has different areas to offer. So every stage has 3 different middle parts. Instead of showing 3 different playthrough I have cut all stages into one playthrough. You will always see Mickeys part, Donalds part and then the 2 player part. The first and last part of every stage is always the same.
I just purchased it again, after years of wanting to do so. I played that so many time as a kid, I problably finished it hundreds and hundreds of time.
This is so nostalgic. I remember beating this game the first day I got it for my birthday and my mom was pissed. She convinces toys r us to accept the return she said I received two and accidentally opened both copies 😂
I don’t know if it was just me but I remember as a kid there’s a cheat or a hack where you can pause your movement when you lift the cape and fly your character around with the attack invincibly.
The first time I played this game,I thought that in 1 player mode the character you didnt choose,would be either a semi boss or during the final boss fight,would be in the background traped in some cage or a crystal bubble similar to Minnie in Castle of Illusion.
I always thought Donald's solo adventure was not possible without mickey, because he would get stuck when crouching in the water temple portion (of the underwater level). So seeing his complete adventure years later is pretty neat. The final level before Pete has that enchanting magisterial aura of a magician's "dream within a dream" spirit; like the soar through the clouds, it feels impressively breathtaking, yet perhaps familiar to all who awake in their dreams- the World of Illusion game as a whole🎲🌠🌃
So this wasn't a fever dream I knew it was real I had to search so hard for it I'm a girl 33 years old this and golden axe where my favorite games as a child

Whilst preparing for a magical 🎩🐇🐰♠♥♦♣🃏🎴🔮 act, Mickey Mouse 🐭🐁🐀 and Donald Duck disco a magical box 📦. This turns out to belong to an evil magician (Pete) who sends Mickey and Donald to a magical world 🌎. Now they must attempt to escape while learning a few magic tricks along the way, facing unknown creatures among other dangers.
The game's music, artwork and animation shows influences from classic Disney animated films, including; Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Sword in the Stone, Alice in Wonderland and Pinocchio. The game included many features that broke the standard platforming mold. It also seems to have an inspirational effect on Kingdom Hearts, as many of the worlds are visited again.

Great game I enjoyed playing this game as a kid and adult, graphics and game play are great a must have for any retro gamer.
