The greatest thing you would win is not the money, but the time it gives you. Not having to work will free up all your time so you can do as much or as little as YOU want every day.
Set up a trust that will pay for all your expenses, which frees up more time. A trust makes it easier to say no, "sorry, I don't handle my money, I have people taking care of it for me."
Think of living a free life.

@@carlswindelliv2701 No, that is simply not true. I do believe in positive talk, but that is what it is. There is nothing wrong thinking like that. You can try to fool your mind all you want, but there are simply some things you cannot control in your life. There are a lot of people out here that have faith and belief that experience negative things. Negative or bad things are going to happen to everyone. That is reality. Some people just believe in positive talk when the good things happen to them. Even the righteousness of people say why are these things happening to me. You have to believe in what you believe in or what works for you. What works for you may not work for me.

Nobody is all good or all bad. A "good" person might be poor because they are "bad" with their finances, for example. Likewise, a very "bad" person might be extremely wealthy because they are extremely "good" at business. If a person determines to be "good", not just in the moral sense, but also in their spiritual walk, their personal relationships, their health (exercise and diet), and with their finances, then that person is (more often than not) going to be very successful in all aspects of their life.

You really don't need to pay a lawyer to do all of this for you. You can hire your own personal security, manage your own finances because it's basic math, and go collect your jackpot and move on by yourself. When you invite all of these people into your world, you open yourself up to be robbed of your fortune by financial advisors who's only interest is their pockets. If you know how to use the plus, minus, subtraction and division sign on a calculator, congratulations! You can manage your own money.

Technically I won the lotto. I had purchased a resto-lounge business off a wealthy man. The deal was good and the profits were enormous at this place. I remember when I bought this place I kept it on the downlow. Never told a soul. Until one day my wife blabbed her big mouth and told my cousins. To which they started calling me and needing to be my best friend. I then had backlash from family questioning why I never "told them" myself.
14 months later I lost the business lost around $8M in profits and went bankrupt. How? Well, evil eyes and bad mouthing and cursing went on when I never gave handouts to family members. Moral of the story....When you obtain success, pretend your not succeeding. Oh and the wife? I left the bitch. Cheers.

As for trusts, have the attorney draft a receiver trust that gets the money. That is the name that would be released publicly. Then have a bridge trust drawn up that flows the money from the receiver trust to your personal banking. This would allow you to remain anonymous, even in the states where winner disclosure is authorized.

property tax on a $1m property is only $6000 per year. lets be absurd and say the total upkeep for the house and a personal maid is $50k a year. $100m invested into the market which gains on average 7% per year would be +$7m the first year it grew. once you understand gains like that, 50k a year is nothing.
lets assume you win and bank 100m at age 18, if you invest that in a mutual fund that averages 7%, at age 65 you would have 2.4 billion ($2,404,570,701)
you could withdraw 1m per year and still watch the money grow throughout your lifetime. money grows, and that is why the rich get richer. a successful business person that amasses a 100m networth at a young age can die a billionaire simply by investing and watching it grow over the decades.

And this would lead many to believe that if you buy 247mil tickets youll win, but even if you did do that, youd be spending way more money than you get from the win. That and each ticket is the same chance, its not garunteed the more tickets you buy. It should be an option for winners over a certain amount to remain completely anonymous. And they shouldn't have to pay to remain anonymous either.
