This comment had me laughing harder than any I've seen haha. I was thinking the same shit. Like yeah I get paid to be here and ill do it whatever. But I just wanted to come here for the first day shoot.
Damn, I know Hop has industry fatigue but I feel like it's pretty crummy that this guy is all proud and excited to show off their new product and Hop does everything short of yawn and cartoonishly pat his mouth. couldn't even feign some interest for the pre-production gun? come on man.
Hop flipped his hat around since the last video. Now Hop looks the guy selling drugs to undercover cop Hop in a 90s Segal flick. It’s getting spicy boys.
I’ve always kinda been ehhh about Strike Industries stuff, but I do love how they’re always innovating. I really like that rifle they’re building. That’s sick. The folding stock that folds to both sides is a great idea.
@@jayzenitram9621 for the ambi-folding stock? I have a BRN180s 10.5” with a 1913 SB Tactical folding brace, and I hated it folding to the left side. One because I just don’t like them folding that side, but also because it would lock. So I removed the arm and brace part, turned the system upside down, and reinstalled the arm and brace, and now it folds to the right, but instead of having to push the Mount and arm mating part up to unlock it and fold it back up, I now have to push it down to do that, and it’s pretty unnatural and somewhat inconvenient. But I don’t see a situation that calls for me to fold the rifle quickly. So it’s ok. But if I had the option to have a brace that folding both ways, I definitely would’ve done it. So for certain side charging rifles/pistols, I can definitely see it being valuable. Especially cuz you don’t want the brace folding into the charging handle/ejection port area and not being able to fire the system when it’s folded.
@@DRich17 Eh, I've built several guns using their kits and others, and had I actually came here to say I like Strike Industries, but they have made a lot of garbage too. Their LPKs have worthless trash for detents, which basically offsets all the good of their bolt catch. Their ar15 grips have been some of the worst I've ever seen and handled or put on someone's gun for them. Still innovative as hell, just massive garbage every 5th swing.
Strike is what happens when guys who just like guns and being different start a company and say "well lets try that and see" a whole lot of times. and that refreshing. The dude talking about how he never owned a 22 and now shoots squirrels and made a 10/22 chassis mostly because he wants to have more fun at home and can make $ on it ... THAT is awesome. I'll be buying more strike stuff
Some of the accessories are goofy but that upper seems really interesting, kinda an ACR with AR parts. Also idk if he’s a sales rep or engineer but he actually seems like he knows what he’s talking about.
You know, Strike was one of the first companies I gravitated towards after I bought my first AR-15. Now, a lot of their stuff seems blingy and cringe to me, but they still have a lot of great products, and I love how they try to be creative and innovative and not just do the same thing everyone else is doing. They're the reason I started customizing my first AR, which led to building them, and led me to the point I'm at now. Soft spot for Strike. Those mad lads really try to bring something different to the community and I appreciate someone marching to their own drum.

I've been a SI fan for a long time. They make quality accessories. I recently ordered one of their Mod 1 CQB stocks and it's excellent but it does not come with the rubber butt pad. I had to order that separately for some reason
That chassis looks legit. May rethink my stance on the concept. If nothing else, just for shits and gigs. And that quick barrel change AR upper is badass
You could just get an AR in 9mm. Much better form function and more practical for anything you'll realistically use it for. My thoughts on this presentation: 1. The SIAR looks pretty sweet. It's cool that the gun world is coming up with multiple products to compete with the SIG MCX. First the BRN-180, and now this. 2. The T-Bone charging handle is a neat concept, but I'm not a fan of having a polymer "latch" that doesn't lock.
