the computer cant tell time without the internet, it uses the internet to automatically adjust its clock to the right time period, so without internet the computer is confused and excepts any time period as the current real-life time.
What if you try to manipulate with the time, I mean what if you rewrite 399 days to like 2 days through the cheat engine, i know its capable of doing that

@@oannamphuong6373 You can beat this game in 2 hours without changing the clock. There are ways in game to speed up time. I see this as sort of a Ressetti thing. If you try to cheat the game, there’s a minor punishment. And The Longing is only meant to be played once. Once you beat it, it doesn’t give you the chance to restart. It just shows the ending you got every time you boot up the game
do you know if there's a way to increase the timer? I missed out on the birthday and i'd like to experience it. Is there a way to put more days on the timer to go back to the birthday?
Too bad, increasing the speed would actually make the game somewhat enjoyable! There are other ways to cheat the game though. All endings have already been uploaded to youtube.
Its enjoyable, if you get the essence. Its not a game to rush things, its about time. I have to wait 2 weeks for the moss growing part, and i don't mind it. I can wait, at least this game not trying to make you play all the day imo, and ofc i have better things to do while im waiting.

for the length of the game is going for, 40000 clicks is of a good amount of clicks while the timer counts down.
