I would have never believed this was possible if I didn't do it myself....re-inflated 2 snow blower tires and 2 hand truck tires effortlessly. I cannot thank you enough. May God bless you my friend....thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Great video! Simple, effective and as many others commented, one of the most useful videos on RUclips. Why do people bother with Politics and Hollywood (All useless BS)? Love to see Ye fix a flat in 2 mins!
works like a charm, started pumping did not work, did this and 100% worked. thank you, I am sure there is some kind of reason why but no time to learn why, must clean snow.
Thanks man I was trying for hours different things .nothing worked. I watched your video and had air in my tires in five minutes....I'm from USA Ohio and we are about to really need our snowblowers in working condition with all this snow thank you so much for helping
I used a ratchet strap. Worked great…totally shocked! Caused me to watch RUclips videos on how tubeless tires work. I had no idea. Glad my tire deflated on a Sunday. All of the shops were closed so I couldn’t bring it to them to charge me to fix. Do it yourself! Thank you!
This saved me a ton of money! I thought I had to purchase a new tire (they go for about $95.00)! Because of you, I was able to get my tire properly inflated, just in time for a Nor-Easter! Thanks again for this super helpful tutorial!
The first time I tried it, I twisted the rope too tightly and the rope snapped. I probably should have used a stronger rope, but I just tried again and the second time worked perfectly. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your video! I would have never figured this out by myself, and the fact that you showed us how to fix it using ordinary tools was a big help as well.
I wanted to find out how to remove the wheel and tire to take to the repair shop and found this video. Worked like a charm with a ratchet strap. Unbelievable! Thank you Toni!!
All the other YT videos have you purchasing a tube to go inside the tire, which will work, but your method had me back up and running in less time than it took me to find a piece of rope.
Can't thank you enough, it worked like a charm! I thought I was up the creek without a paddle after a huge snowfall, had it going in minutes. Thanks again!
That was awesome! I got on RUclips to figure out how to remove the tire (not sure whether some trick since I can't pull it off with the bolt removed), and I found this little beauty. Very innovative. Simply squeezes the circumference to force the sides against the rim then remove the rope. Thank you so much!!
In Northeast USA, last year was a mild winter with no snow, so many people paid no attention to the snowblower for over 1 year, until we got a blizzard warning for this week. Myself (and many others, from what I saw at the local tire shop) went to see if the unit would start and discovered 2 flat-spotted tires. Managed to get one inflated but the other would not seal without the help of the tire shop. I saw a video on spraying something flammable on the tire and decided not to try that. Glad to see I was on the right track though. I tried to press with my hands to compress the tire and force it to sit close to the rim while my wife inflated, but it didn't work. I guess I wasn't strong enough. This rope trick is excellent though, and I'll never forget should I need in the future. Thanks for sharing!
Toni, I felt the same way as Jarrett. After watching the video, I would have bet my mortgage that it wouldn't work. I would be homeless now, but with a snowblower with fully inflated tires living under a viaduct somewhere. You solution was genius. Everyone who commented should send you 10% of what it would have cost to buy new tires, rims, or taken it to a repair shop. Thank you so much for sharing your ingenuity with the rest of us.
One of the easiest most informative videos I have watched. I have never posted a comment on RUclips before but felt it necessary thank you so much you saved me a ton of time and money!
Changed my drive belt a week ago. Saw the low tire , but forgot to fill it that day. Snow today in Illinois and did a few passes and sure enough tire goes off beads and is flat now. Couldn't refill....then the tire would not release off the hub to take in for the repair.... I found your vid on here and with rope and a lock plier to twist literally like 2 minutes and tire is re-inflated and can finish. you saved me a heart attack shoveling. 5* fix
Wonderful!!! Thank You Sir!… I am Helping my Friend tomorrow with same Problem, I have a Bike Pump like yours with Air Pressure Gauge and I can’t Wait to try this out!!! Thank You!!! Marvellous!!!
Yes sir another great informational RUclips video, thanks for posting. We got 5" of snow last week and I actually used the blower with one wheel now I'm back in business.
You are my new best friend! Lol After watching this, it took me two minutes to revive the tire from my snowblower! You saved me a lot of time and some cash!
This worked for me today. A little struggle centering tire on the rim at first, but used flat part of tire iron in the gap to gently re-seat it. After that it started to hold air. THANK YOU!
Worked great. I needed to cinch the rope in two spots (opposite one another) to get the tire to push against the rim all the way around, but this was a great tip. Last time this happened I ended up at Sears repair I was so frustrated. What a relief to know I can take care of this in my garage with no hassle. Thanks for posting.
I can't thank you enough for this video. Got my snowblower out of the shed to prepare for winter and I discovered one tire was flat. Couldn't inflate it because of the gap between tire and tim. Your solution worked perfectly. My tire is now fully inflated and waiting for snow thanks to you.
This is a great basic fix. Nothing high tech going on. Thankfully I found rope (rope works the best) strong enough for this chore, followed the instructions, and found my new tire compressor was able to inflate the totally uninflated tire to the PSI setting. Thanks again for this simple fix.
Absolutely brilliant! I have literally been staring at the one deflated tire on my snowblower for months thinking I had to replace it but grabbed an extension cord and wrapped it around the tire and tightened it with the handle of a hammer, inflated the tire with a hand pump and problem solved. Worked like a charm. Many thanks for the insight as to the problem and the fix. Cheers!!!
perhaps first take a rag and clean the inside lip of the rim and the bead of the tire to help insure that it won't easily leak again . AND always check the psi in both tires
Like he said winter is coming. I’ve go a problem snowblower tire and this is the method I’ll use. I’ve got a nice thick wire and a electric compressor. I’ve got to do this ASAP!
T, you’re the man. I was in the middle of clearing out and tire went flat. I followed your unbelievably simple fix and completed the job. Thank you so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a great tip. Along with a bubble test, it showed me that my rim was slightly dented (enough to break the seal and blow bubbles at one spot on the rim). A few taps with a hammer put it back in place. Now I have a fully inflated tire on my snow blower, ready for the winter! Toni the Bike Guy is now "Toni the snow blower guy"!
You are a lifesaver! snowblower tire popped off the bead today while clearing the driveway from storm #1. With storm #2 arriving this afternoon I needed some help. This simple repair using a rope (i used rachet strap) put enough pressure on the tire to go onto the bead and let me fill it with air THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. We have the same snowblower “Had” the same issue with the tire, all good now. So appreciative!
All I have to say is that it worked GREAT!!!! THANK YOU so much for the video I was about to take it off to put my spare tire and was struggling to take it off and this worked perfectly 👍👍
I did the same thing yesterday, using a ratchet strap. I tried taking the rim off, but couldn't. It was too cold outside, to try and remove the rim. I'll deal with that in the spring, when I replace all the belts.
Legend! You belong in the RUclips hall of fame for this one. Thank you!
I would have never believed this was possible if I didn't do it myself....re-inflated 2 snow blower tires and 2 hand truck tires effortlessly. I cannot thank you enough. May God bless you my friend....thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I'm so happy that it helps you. Thank you for your good words. God bless you too 🙏

Spent 1/2 hr. outside nothing worked. Tried this trick and Voila, Easy Pleasy! Worked first time!
works like a charm, started pumping did not work, did this and 100% worked. thank you, I am sure there is some kind of reason why but no time to learn why, must clean snow.
also I have never left a comment in my life on RUclips, wanted to sincerally say this is a rare video where something works as promised.
Just had both of my walk-behind blower tires come off the rims in transport. I will be trying this method asap. Thank you sir👊💯
Brilliant! I watched a video from somebody else where the tire had to be removed. That was asking for trouble! Thanks for posting!
Thanks man I was trying for hours different things .nothing worked. I watched your video and had air in my tires in five minutes....I'm from USA Ohio and we are about to really need our snowblowers in working condition with all this snow thank you so much for helping
My MAN!! This worked perfectly. I didn’t have a ratchet strap but I did have a length of nylon rope. So easy, so fast.
I owe you a beer or something.
love people like you wish you were my Neighboor love and hugs Iceman
I’m going to try this, thanks so much some shop will charge a small fortune!!!
Thank you! It worked!!! Tire was frozen also I put heater on it and used your Rope and ratchet Idea. I love in Minnesota and it December 28🥶
This is one of the most useful instructional videos on RUclips hands down. Worked perfectly. Thank you!
Thank you for your comment 👍

Awesome trick - you saved me time and $$!
One thing I did differently: I used a ratchet strap instead of a rope. Worked great!
Good to hear that, thanks for the comment!
The first time I tried it, I twisted the rope too tightly and the rope snapped. I probably should have used a stronger rope, but I just tried again and the second time worked perfectly. Thank you so much.

Worked perfectly for me, had no idea. Thank you! $7 in rope at the hardware store and an old basketball pump and we’re back in business.
Thanks for the comment!
This is a legit video. Thanks!!
Every year the snowblower and trolley flat reappear, wheel off rim. This is an amazing tip, great thanks!
I wanted to find out how to remove the wheel and tire to take to the repair shop and found this video. Worked like a charm with a ratchet strap. Unbelievable! Thank you Toni!!
WOW! Worked like a charm. 5mins, no wheel removal, no new tire! Many many thanks
I am constantly amazed by the ingenuity of other people. I can tell you that I would never have thought of inflating the tire this way.
Exactly. Why spend a fortune on something, that you'll only use a couple times?
Thx Guy, Your video saved me a lotta headache. Did my snowblower tires in a few minutes. No problem. Great tips
Thank you for the comment!
Thank you for the instruction. I was able to get my tires filled in little time thanks to your video.
Great job. You got right to the repair. Thanks for making it.
Thanks for the tip! I couldn't find a rope available, so I ended up using a ratchet strap system and that worked the same way.
Yesss!!!! Thank you this method work perfectly. Just getting my Snow blower ready for winter here in Mass.
Thank you very much sir, blew mine for less then 2 minutes effortless. You made my day thanks again :-)

Very helpful. Few nice days are coming in February without snow, so I will try your method. Thank you very much.
