Listen, some challenges may be harder than they look. Sure, it may look easy at first glance, but remember: the odds are 1 out of 7 people are able to eat it. So yeah. Not many people won. Sure, it was in the thousands, but still.

Actually, they have settled in Holstein and Mecklenburg.
They had good swords down in Saksland (Saxony). The best ones was the Ulfberht. The Viking Age version of today's Rolls Royce. If you had an Ulfberht and went out raiding, you came home with plunder.
This is one of my favorite episodes. The crowd was really into it and there were a lot of memorable comments from them too! 🤣
The crowd is the most cringiest part of the entire show. So fake and scripted.

The great balls of fire episode. Eat like 6 or so spicy what are essentially large hush puppies. Easy
It's not the meat that causes the issues with this challenge. It's the side dishes. Cabbage is a very filling side dish which is why it's great for weight loss, and then he picked potato croquettes which are extremely filling too. Imagine if someone picked German potato salad. It'd be rough.

Well mid Europe such as Germany Poland Czech republic and western Russia share the same gene pool as Norsemen. Before Christianisation of Europe they were sharing the same gods and events (in different names tho) In Russia for an example u can still find people celebrating "Jól" by getting drunk, taking psychedelic, fucking like rabbits and sacrificing animals. I ate a 6 foot 5 pound fresh mett in appx. 1 hr with a couple of slices of bread( fresh meat was grilled & not our banger style) , no sides, but delicious, near Cincinnati, I'm Irish but the majority of folks here are german/austrian ( as is my wife) , they make a wide variety of sausages from scratch & they are Awesome, Go to Cinti for sausages!

The food in his plate is enough to feed an entire German family at Christmas. Ridiculous.
"Gasthof zur Gemütlichkeit" literaly translates to "Inn for Comfort" or "Comfort Inn"
"House of Good Time and Good Feeling" would translate into "Haus der guten Zeit und des guten Gefühls"
Whoever told Adam about the translation, I hope he/she was fired.
Finally, the "z" in "zur" is pronounced as a "c" sound (like in cheap)

I guess all that open space on the plate makes this look like an easier challenge. Might be more intimidating if they coiled the sausage like a snake and used a smaller plate.
