      I agree wholeheartedly, Jeremy Irons' performance was sheer perfection. I saw the live action film and Scar wasn't nearly as malevolent as Jeremy Irons' Scar was. The film couldn't match the animated version because Scar wasn't scary enough.

    • @DGraham9721
      @DGraham9721 Год назад +3

      @@donnabreedlove6862 I never saw the live action... I heard the song "Be Prepared" on youtube and boy, was I disappointed in it. It lacked power, and to me, felt emotionally lacking. It felt forced and for lack of a better word...a joke. Now I am not trying to belittle the voice actor...It just didn't sound right for the feel of the scene.... The scene called for a more serious tone, but what was given was a yelling...venting tone... a complaining tone. It was a complete turn off for me. Music for me is very important. If I don't enjoy the soundtrack of a movie, typically I don't end up liking the movie too much. So this song really killed the movie in a way for me that I ended up not watching it. I did not expect the "Live Action" to be exactly the same as the original.... I knew there was going to be some deviation. But they should have brought Jeremy Irons back as Scar like they did for James Earl Jones for Mufasa. Jeremy Irons' voice was perfect for Scar... just like James Earl Jones' voice was for Mufasa. It made me real sad that they just replaced him like that.... it just did not sit right with me.... Sorry for this long rant of sorts 😂

In most of the animated films and series I enjoy, the voice acting usually had to be top-notch in order to feel the plight of the characters. The short list would include Dante Basco for his ability to deliver on both the highs and lows of being a teenager. Ron Perlman for using his voice alone to convey cruelty and sadism in most of his characters. Jason Marsden for being able to flip between heroes and villains while still sounding believable as either.

Forte's lifeless black eyes? idk what it is, but Forte is terrifying and no one can tell me otherwise

    Ashly Burch as Molly McGee (The Ghost and Molly McGee) - When it comes to cheerful Disney Animated Protagonists, we may have plenty, but Burch's portrayal of Molly goes the quickest under the radar...
