Beautiful truck man love those bull nose that the missing link in my collection so far I got a dent side 78 and a brick nose 88 I plan on doing some content with both of them soon
I am doing a resto mod on my 85 short bed. I drove it my senior year in 2001 after my Grandpa and I rebuilt the 300. The trans went out and it sat for 20 years behind my Dads barn. It was my Dads truck and it has the cab off my Grandpas 81 f100 ranger. The original cab caught fire in 96. Thanks for sharing man, definitely motivation for me. I plan to do the same drop on mine and yours sits just how I pictured mine.
Great job, These Bull and Brick Nose Fords are a hot build here in Central Florida because they are the last of the cheap/affordable Classic trucks. I've never been a Ford guy but I just bought a 84 F-150 302 with an auto trans because I need a truck once in awhile and I picked it up for $1400 and drove it home, Yeah it has some body issues but I repeat.... I paid $1400 for it and drove it home.
I have a black 86 just like that one but the bed was all full of bondo so i made it a stepside looks super cool needs a rebuild on the 302 now but overall a great cool truck
Very nice drop on your truck! Inspiring!! Just started sourcing parts for my 85. Now that your truck has settled, what camber kit did you end up with? Did your pinon angle? What's a good shorter shock to use Any binding on the sway bars? Be well David
That's awesome you're involving your kids. Start em young and keep em interested. Question for you. How wide are those wheels? I have some 10" wide 15" rims I wanted to use,but I'm not sure if they will rub.
hey man, just found you when i was thinkin of lowerin my own bullnose, love your style man.. teachin the next gen, and what youg got goin on w your ford! cheers.. ps any update on the alignment? couild they get r back inline?
Hell yeah I got a 82 with 6inline motor original and I'm doing this as well Where could I purchase those kind of wheels can't seem to know the bolt pattern isnit 5x5.5?
Very nice! Love how it looks now! Did you have to get new alignment bushings? I can't believe the front dropped down so nicely! You mentioned you ended up getting drop shackles too, do you have the link to those?
@@FloridaCrackerKustoms that’d be nice to see! Looking forward to it. I’m guessing you had to get the high degree correction bushings. I had to when I lifted my F250. I’m thinking of dropping my 87 Bronco like you have with yours though 💪 thanks for the link too man!
I’ve had no issues, there’s still plenty of room between the frame & axle. If you were trying to haul bags of cement & lumber then you might hit the bump stops but my truck is just to a toy not a work truck anymore.

Awesome you involve you boy in your projects. That's a good father right there.
Thank you, I appreciate the compliment buddy!
Its always good to teach your kids how to fix or build something.

The last of the affordable old pick ups. I wish they had the aftermarket support Chevys did.
Very nice video especially you teaching the kids
Man if you want to make some more content I need to do the flip kit on my 96 with drop springs and shocks... located near Callahan FL
I have a black 86 just like that one but the bed was all full of bondo so i made it a stepside looks super cool needs a rebuild on the 302 now but overall a great cool truck
I like the step side beds, give them more style in my opinion.

@@Davada1gen I’m still using stock camber kit & stock shocks. No binding 👍🏻

Nice!
Awesome! What size wheels and tires are you running here?
Hella video 🙌🏻

@@FloridaCrackerKustoms appreciate it brother New Subscriber here keep the content going!
@@bris9984 I appreciate man, thank you!
I nearly broke my hand as a kid while my dad was in a teaching mode...
I have a 4wd 1984 f150.can you do it the same or do I have to do something different?
What’s the exact measurement from the original hole to the new hole that I have to cut?

I did have to get new alignment bushings, I’ll be doing a video on the install here pretty soon.

Did you have to do any adjusting to the drive shaft??
Looks amazing friend. subbing now I want to do this on a 86 f250 2wd, 6.9 idi. I wonder kit is available?
Should be, if not you could always piece together the parts & make your own kit off eBay.
@@FloridaCrackerKustoms idk? all kits show f150 351? 6.9 way heavier. Randy 208-538-wrap if you wanna chat. I love these trucks.
My truck bouces after I did the flip kit, any suggestions?
Nice truck brother…..with that much drop would you be needing to notch the frame or not??
I’ve had no issues, there’s still plenty of room between the frame & axle. If you were trying to haul bags of cement & lumber then you might hit the bump stops but my truck is just to a toy not a work truck anymore.
Does it need c-notch?
Nope 👍🏻
Hey bud did you unbolt the bolt on the leaf springs and flipped it , just curious?
I can’t remember if I did or not. I don’t think I did.
Hey man What is the size of the tires on your truck?
^?? looks good whatever they are.
Did you had any problem with your aligment? With the springs?
No just needed new alignment bushings
Hey man, big fan. I’ve got a 1981 but when I did a flip kit the suspension rode terribly. Any suggestions?
I would suggest some bilstien shocks.
Okay, cool I appreciate it man.
Where did you find those rims?
BLACK ROCK TYPE 8 SERIES 997 STEEL WHEEL, mine are 16x10s.
This is a 3/5 drop?
