David Thank you so much!! We knew you would cover the parking structure. Coming next weekend and now we know everything and no guess work . You are fabulous!!!
This reminds me of the first Fresh Baked Disney video I found years ago about how to get a FastPass for the new Radiator Springs Racers attraction. I’m strangely excited about a parking structure too. Love it.
I follow like 30 Disney channels and I am happy to see that you are the early bird to show us this. Thank you so much, and to your family to let you be dedicated to the channel, a channel that brings magic to our screens.
I'm a little late to the game here and don't know if it's been mentioned, but notice that the individual parking spot availability lights are blue when above an available disabled parking spot. Cheers, keep up the great work!
Thank you for doing this. Finally got a sense of how the entrance to the Pixar parking structure is like and exiting. Was a bit confused at first on where/how to exit the structure.
I'm curious if you have to take this route, or can you come from like Walnut and turn left into the entrance? I couldn't quite tell if there was traffic from that way in the video.
Thank you David for the parking tour. It makes sense that the droppoff will be kind of in the middle once they are done with that area. Hopefully Disney will put in bathrooms in Pixar Pals garage at some point.
So if I park on the 5th level, will I need to take the escalator to the ground and then the other escalator back up to 2 in order to use the bridge? Seems like a bit of a cluster in that area then.
Love the edition of the lights, but I’ve noticed they’re not entirely accurate. I visited M&F yesterday and there were many green lights that were lit on already taken spaces - but overall, still very helpful!
Handy stuff for when we’re trying to shave off every possible minute first thing in a Disney day!! What a bizarre entrance I’d totally think I was going the wrong way. Thanks for sharing!
Something to keep in mind, the parking assist system isn't 100% accurate. Last week, I noticed a few spots in Micky & Friends that were lit green, even though a vehicle was parked in that spot. Just something to keep in mind if you're relying on the system, that as new as it is, there will be some kinks that need to be worked out over time. I would recommend, if using the parking assist system, to pick a row that lists a good number of open spots. It would suck to turn down a row that lists 2 open spots, only to find out that they're taken.
Thanks David for covering the parking! We will be guests at Paradise Pier hotel next week and have No Idea how to get there. (Bizebeegranny) Jeanne n David Rose from Arizona
Thank you for being SO DARN thorough. 👍. Last Sat. I asked you wife for a review on the fruity flavored cereal covered Churro style dessert. She was SO sweet. On this video, I especially appreciate the info. On how to exit this structure. You are the only one thus far to explain that. Great channel.
so for those arriving on the same parking level as you Dave, if guests want to walk across the bridge to Downtown Disney (once it opens) do they have to go down the larger escalator and then back up the smaller escalator to bridge level? I assume the eleavtors will take you down to the correct level also?
Just before you commented on how it looked I said to myself that is really beautifully done lol It's a work of art 👍☺ Great video too! I loved learning how the parking works. Thanks!!
Does this still work in 2023? Where we are staying this week it makes more sense to drive down Katella to Disneyland Dr to this side entrance. Your video is the only one I can find showing this parking.
Freshbaked can you please check if there are electrical car charging stations on the pixal pals parking structure. The electric chargers are always full at mickey and friends when i go.
One thing to note is after 6pm, they close the entrance and make it an exit out to Magic Way (where you entered from). To achieve this, they open up back the ramps and you go down the ramp out around the tolls and exit out on Magic way. Essentially if your video was reversed is how one would exit haha. They did move the entrance to Downtown Disney to Simba permanently so traffic doesn't build up at that light. I think that's it though. Great video and they were on that floor for about 6 hours. ONE OTHER THING I FORGOT! They DO merge M&F traffic with Pixar Pals traffic! When you drive in at 3:30, on your right is the M&F structure and they will have traffic merge with you later in the day. I'm not sure when they do this or how often they will do this, but keep that in mind too.
We noticed 5 elevators, not just the 3 you show. For anyone used to the long elevator lines at M&F, heading over to the PP elevators could save quite a bit of time. You can walk across the bridges between M&F and PP, no problem.
The new parking lights were not installed to replace cast members. Actual people will still be present during the morning parking rush. The lights, on the other hand, are only there to make parking later in the day more efficient.
I love the new system that shows you if there are parking spaces available or not. They should install that in more parking structures. At first I was confused by how the bridge won't be done until September, but that was until I saw all the construction going on at the other side of the bridge.
We visited the park on Wednesday. Got into Pixar Pals just like you did. (Well, we come from the south, so we turned left onto Magic Way.) It wasn't quite as empty as you saw - there were plenty of cars on the level we parked, but that level was only half full. Like you, there was no line at the ticket booths. All very easy parking. My one small disappointment is that there is an entrance at all from Magic Way. An awful lot of potential parking is lost to those entrance lines. Like Mickey and Friends, that ground floor could accommodate taller vehicles. It would be just as easy to use the Mickey and Friends entrance, with cars turning left just past the ticket booths to enter Pixar Pals, rather than the usual right turn to enter Mickey and Friends. Then there could be oversize parking on the ground floor of both structures. I assume we'll get some oversize parking back on the ground floor of Mickey and Friends once the previous tram pick up area is fully removed. We normally drive a full-size van that doesn't fit onto either of the parking structures. We usually parked outside, where Pixar Pals now sits. We've gotten very familiar with the Toy Story lot since the Pixar Pals structure construction began. The good news is that Pixar Pals is a very good parking structure. There's enough room to drive around the structure, plus they added a floor number (in addition to the Pixar movie name) to all of the rows, making it just a little easier to identify where you parked. At night, the floors have a color glow visible from the courtyard area which corresponds to the color found on each level. Makes for a great little touch.
Great job. Thanks to your video, zoomed right in from 5 south. Now that I got that out of my system, I may stick to MF entrance from now on. Worried about traffic later on from DL Drive to Magic Wy. I saw them sending cars from MF to Pixars Pals over the connecting ramp anyway.
That's exactly why I'm one and done on this new parking structure. Those five minute anaheim traffic signals and the fact that I come from the north make it a lot less convenient for me. It's pretty I guess :-p
This will never happen again. Alone in the structure, it will never be that empty again. People just don't know yet, but they will soon. Thanks for sharing and keep the vlogs Coming and God bless you and your growing family. Have you chosen a name yet? I'm kinda behind so if you already have said I'm sorry to be so slow, Lol. God bless😊👨👩👧
Just over 8 feet. Maybe 8' 2". Definitely a bummer for us, as our van is 8' 6". If I remember correctly, floor 2 - 6 are limited to 7' 6". I'm assuming that vehicles between these two heights are accommodated somewhere on the ground floor.
Does anyone remember what magic way was called previously? The little side street that led into the Disneyland hotel surface (and underground) parking? Back when Disneyland drive was called West (something: way or drive?). The old quiet way to drive into Disneyland hotel before all the massive parking structures went in? Back when the huge , old disneyland parking lot emptied out onto West. No DCA then, just a chain link gate. ;)
Coming from the 5 N. Is toy story still the easiest parking structure to go to? Is this parking structure like Mickey and Friends in the sense it suits people coming South to Disney off the 5 S? Hope everyone understands what I'm saying haha FRESH BAKED 👍👍👍👍
@@FreshBakedDisney so coming from San Diego going north you think this parking structure is easier to get to than Toy Story? I always felt if your on the 5 South it was easier to get to Mickey and Friends but going North Toy Story was? Haha I'm sorry just losing my bearings... Did i spell that right?? Haha
M&F and PP are functionally one parking structure with two entrances. The new second entrance is found by keeping right on Disneyland Dr to skip the old entrance, then turning right at the first stop light you come to. The parking entrance is on the right. It looks a bit like the entrance to a typical truck loading zone, if you ask me.
Pixar Pals is basically the same as Mickey & Friends. If you find the Toy Story lot easier than Mickey & Friends, then Toy Story will be easier than Pixar Pals as well.
Entrance is great. Exit not so much. If you are in the first row of the new one, then you have to basically traverse the distance of both parking structures to even get out. That’s horrible.
The lights and signs weren't accurate when we went on Thursday...we had to loop back around the entire two structure at least 3 times because we were relying on the new system. Hopefully they work properly next time.
Same, I don't know what it is, but they have a lot of trouble detecting either certain kinds of cars, or cars parked a little too far in. If you trust them, there's a good chance you are going around again.

I hate those buses from Toy Story to the park entrance. The drivers are NOT Disney cast members, and it shows. Most of the time they act like they've never dealt with a wheelchair before. I have gotten frustrated to the point of operating the wheelchair tie downs myself on occasion. I've never felt like doing that on the Disney Trams or the Mickey Vans. They're also horribly uncoordinated in the way the pickup and drop off guests. They'll make two stops in that turn around circle in the parking lot just to save people 100 feet of walking. It's horribly inefficient.
How exciting ~ It was so awesome to meet you! I was the cast member to greet you at the toll booth that morning!!! 😃
Only in Disney where a parking structure opening gets attention 😁
David Thank you so much!! We knew you would cover the parking structure. Coming next weekend and now we know everything and no guess work . You are fabulous!!!
In all the history of construction by humankind, has there ever been a parking structure so well documented and commented on as this one? LOL.

Tomorrow Land Parking Structure . Beautiful
I liked and shared this video. Big thumbs up 👍 for the helpful tips David, thx.
Only for Fresh Baked do I watch/hit like for a parking structure drive through! 🤣💙
How fun it is to hear David's excited voice about a new parking lot. :-) I love David's work. -Frank
Great parking structures
great video, for us newcomers. One question: parking in Pixar Friends only leads you to the trams, as you showed, or also to the Monorail ?
Very helpful. Thank you so much love all your videos!

It says ALOT about Disneyland that even the parking structure is an attraction. If that doesnt show you the quality this brand commands, nothing will.
I also heard that you can enter Pixar Pals from Mickey and friends as well

The parking garage's in Disney springs has had them since they built the Garage 's. They are real great, to find a parking space.
