More than a week after the release of 'Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,’ the 'Saturday Night Live' comedian expresses his support for those who shared their stories during his March 27 appearance on ‘Tamron Hall.’

I don’t think Dan would have even tried to manipulate Kenan and Kel anyway. I think he knew he could manipulate. I don’t think he would try to manipulate older teenage black boys or Lori Beth Denberg and she was like 18 when All That started, I don’t think he would have tried Angelique or Christy on All That either or Nick Cannon, or Josh.

Sadly I think some of those kids were protected due to not being the predators type.

I believe the allegations that Jeannette McCurdy made against Dan Schneider is one of the reasons why Paramount+ cancelled the 4th season of iCarly (2021).
I doubt it. iCarly writers distanced themselves from Dan immediately after the accusations came out. The network is responsible for TV cancelations. I think they did it to make room for the 100 more Yellowstone spin-offs we'll be getting in the neat future.
No, people just stopped watching the second season after the reboot hype died down. They still show reruns of ICarly & other Dan shows so clearly networks don’t actually care about the accusations.
None of the reboots last long.
It's really sad. You can't watch nice shows or listen to music anymore because what's been going on. We should shut everything down.

Except many of the actors and actresses are still living off of the residuals. Getting rid of all of the shows cuts into their financial security. They already went through the trauma, why take away the only good result that helps them?
Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro, Jim Parsons, and Todd Spiewak should be the new executive producers at Nickelodeon and Disney Channel based on the success of Young Sheldon.

What a scared kid sees or think or feels is ok! If he did know or see something, and he didn’t tell anyone or he doesn’t admit to it now, that’s ok!! He owes no one anything. Kids are too scared to say anything and it still hurts them too much as adults to say anything! It damages people to realize things done to them or their friends when they are kids. If he does know anything, he owes nothing to anyone, if he was under 18 when he learned about it. Don’t victim shame loser.
Unfortunately this is nothing new.
Different Strokes with Gary Coleman is a pretty well known one for instance. And the most disturbing thing about it in retrospect is they had an episode where some guy tried to molest the boys, possibly acting out what went on behind the scenes.
He’s still working in the industry so he’s not about to expose anyone.

@@OrlandoCanizalesJr Dan was working on All That when Kenan was there as far as we know of but even regardless of that, it doesn't mean that he meaning Kenan ever witnessed anything back then since that was like the early 90s and sounded like Dan became more toxic later on.
@@MattZRJSRoxy Dan wasn’t the main guy that was in charge of All That at the time it was the same with the Kenan and Kal show. While he did work for Dan Schneider his experience with Dan Schneider was most likely different than others since he never really worked with him where he was the main show runner for any of the shows that he overseen at the time.
He doesn’t need to expose anyone, they’re exposing themselves.

Kenan worked with Dan on Good Burger in 97, he definitely knows a lot more but he won't bite the hand that feeds him
Notice the ones who didn't participate in the documentary (kenan,kel mitchell,josh peck,ariana grande,miranda cosgrove) not really saying nothing too much not cuz they haven't been through stuff like the others but because they're still very active in the industry
@@mxhughes Or because they did not experience the same thing. Dan did not have the same power he had on say iCarly when Kenan and Kel was running. Also, predators know how to pick their prey. Children that were well protected by their parents would be less likely to be preys of people like Dan.

It’s too good to be true enjoy watching kids shows. But then now time has come getting Nickelodeon show cancelled. Kids are talented and they work so hard. Proud of you all. Also, I’m so sorry for them going through difficult life.

I believe Kenan. I dont think anything happened to kenen or kel. You have to remember, Kenan and kel were both Nickelodeon royalty back then and still are. Kenan was already well established before all that and his mother was always on the set. same for kel. And Kel even worked with Dan Schneider a few years ago on his show, gameshakers. I think a lot of the abuse that took place unfortunately was done to take advantage of young kids that were new to the industry trying to make it big in the entertainment business.
Well Dan was also in the Good Burger movie with them. But he was just an actor so they wouldn’t have seen him being an a-hole

They haven’t spoken out because we are not entitled to their trauma. a survivor never needs to explain it to anyone. It’s our trauma and we learned to live with it. Thomas survivors do not need to revive it and have it played over and over again. Our mental health matters too.

Actors of Ed and Dexter Reed will always be the chads of Good Burger. As with Nickelodeon's reputation for unsafe working conditions, it may not be a good idea for them to pursue live-action projects involving kids or predators.
I feel so so so bad for these kids, these adults should have protected them.i was molested at 5 yrs old. I know i was no child star but i understand what they endured it hurts. If i could speak out for them i would.

This is a guy who worked with Dan Schneider AND Bill Cosby, two of the biggest creeps in the business. He had to keep a lot of allegations to himself for various reasons but at least he was able to openly make fun of cosby on SNL.

I want to apologize to the lord. I want to apologize for scoffing at his words. I was born with Cerebral Palsy. As a 13 year-old teenager, I wanted to star on a show on Nickelodeon or Disney Channel to improve my social inclusion. My heart was so corrupted by my own greed and envy It never occurred to me that the people who made me laugh in my favorite TV shows were hiding their pain in their eyes, and the sadness behind their smiles. I want to recover from my trauma. My ex-girlfriend's mom blocked me from being in the same classes at school as her daughter for five years because dating rumors were getting out of control. These actors want to recover from their trauma too. I finally understand it. I finally understand that I’m graduating in my late 20’s because this is all part of God’s timing. God was keeping me safe from people like Brian Peck. Only God knows when I’ll be married, when I’ll have a great social life, and when my career will begin. I just have to keep trusting him. Now, I'm 29. I'm going to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Film this Christmas.
My prayers go out to Drake Bell. Hearing him talking about these horrible things was never going to be easy. However, I hope what Drake did with his bravery can help other actors speak up about any personal misconduct. Drake Bell really did prove to me that when it comes to being a TV star, there is a sense of darkness, that even the bright lights of Hollywood can never hide.

What did Dan actually do? I haven’t heard he did anything bad other than make the kids feel uncomfortable while doing goofy things on screen for the show. It’s the job though, I don’t understand. What misconduct?He’s not a pedofile is he?
He made the talent feel uncomfortable yes. And adult "adult" gags into kids shows having them do things that were clearly innuendo but they may have been too young to pick up on at the time. But he also mistreated the adult non acting staff as well.

@@heydude21687 From watching the doc, he seemed to had created a toxic work environment for some of the worker, some questionable content, creepy and weird at times, asking for massages from women on set but never seemed involved in any questionable behavior besides the other two former workers that were charged.
@sk8mafia214 Is that enough to completely ruin a man's life? I've also heard from a lot of the cast and crew that they loved working for him. All of the "creepy" stuff I saw could really just get misconstrued as trying to be funny. It was a different time back then. Kids liked slapstick humor with bananas and feet and chocolate sauce and random things. I don't think there was purposely anything non-innocent intended. I feel like it's a bit of a stretch from the adults to call that stuff bad.
