That boxy Y33 style of the Gloria/Cedric is good looking on it's own, but this was just the right amount of a transformation to bring all that sexy out. Very low key and tastefully done.
I miss this car so much! We owned one for 12 years back in 1998 it was like driving an alien space ship to people driving down the street! Beautiful, elegant, powerful beast of a car! 💔
Yes they do, however, BC Racing has recently come out with a model with the Spindle already installed that work for both the Y32 and Y33. They are about a 6-8 week lead time.
i have the opportunity to buy this same trim gloria right now but i can’t decide… i know very little about the chassis, and i’ve had no luck searching for aftermarket parts. I want the car insanely bad but i have no idea where to start with it lol, there’s very little info out there. At the very least i would want a body kit but i can’t find a single one
The chassis is the same as the 97-01 Q45, the engine is a VQ based engine so a lot of the 350z parts interchange (belts, gaskets, etc) Very easy car to maintain. As for aero you will have to source that from Japan (Aimgain, Junction Produce, Artisan Spirits, etc)
Used to own it ... such a great car... sold it because I suffered a lot looking for spare parts in my region ... wish Nissan regret Ghoson's decision to stop this car dna
I have a NA version of the Gran Turismo could've bought the turbo version but went with non turbo for maintenance purposes. Any suggestions where I can buy parts for this car such as brakes...plugs...etc?
To install aftermarket coilovers. On the Y chassis the spindle has to be welded to the new strut as from the factory the strut and spindle are welded as one piece.
@@DriverMotorsports are you guys welding up the spindle with stainless rods or regular mild steel rods? I might go this route instead of doing the S14 swap (which is alot cheaper) but it requires more parts and work unlike this way just cut off the old strut and weld the coilover cup.

Amazing job! It’s literally car show ready, but totally adapted for daily driving too. You guys run a smooth operation 👍

I like this car too much. How much these go for? Around $10k? I might have to see about getting me a Gloria or a Cima.
We sell them between 11-15 Typically with wheels, new coilovers, tint etc. It depends on mileage, motor, trim options, etc
Arent they pretty man??
@@DriverMotorsports Can you import into the US?
@@rs7designs91 yes
Does every Gloria/Cedric need aftermarket coilovers custom welded like you did? Just curious, hoping I can get one in the next few years.

@@DriverMotorsports so even the BC racing coilovers would have to be welded?
@curry8631 No, as he said the spindles are already attached. No welding.

I hate what you have to do for a coil installation. Couldnt you swap the spindle/parts from another nissan onto it?
You can convert to S13/S14 front Suspension.
what wheel profile did you go with?
What’s the first song called?

Your local parts store should have everything you need! The majority of 97 Infiniti Q45 parts will crossover :)
@@DriverMotorsports nice I appreciate it. I was hoping that I could pick up parts here in USA instead of having to order everything from Japan. Thanks
@@DriverMotorsports So even tho the 97 Infiniti Q45 is a 4.1 V8 the parts is still interchangeable?.
