I have the same exact turntable. It might play slightly slow 32 RPM instead of 33 1/3. That is because the exact size belt this turntable needs is no longer produced. If that is the case you need to increase the circumference of the spindle. It sounds complicated, but it is an inexpensive solution. Get nail polish, remove the platter and belt. Then make the spindle turn and put a little bit of nail polish on the spindle as it turns. Let it dry. While drying download an app for your phone that measures turntable RPMs. Place the phone near the spindle to get a more accurate measurement. You'll notice that the speed is now a little faster than before. Repeat the process until the phone reads 33 1/3 or as close to it as possible. If you put too much nail polish you can remove it with nail polish remover. Once you lock in the correct speed, you are good to go. I did this 4 years ago and my turntable has been accurate ever since and I use it every single day.

Ik weet wanneer ik een nederlander engels hoor praten!! Hahah ik heb zelf laatst een BSR platenspeler gekocht bij een kringloop en toen kwam ik er achter dat hij niet eens werkte. Ik heb de rubberen plaat er af gehaald en zag al meteen dat de belt los zat. Alleen nu kan ik de metalen platter er niet afhalen. Die zit om een of andere reden vast, er zijn ook geen schroeven die hem losmaken en ik heb er zo hard aan getrokken dat je zou denken dat hij wel moet loskomen. Het motortje draait nog wel goed bij de mijne maar de belt zat er niet meer omheen en als ik hem er omheen deed en ook om het draaiwieletje gebeurde er nog niks. Er staat ook nergens welke versie platenspeler van BSR het precies is en ik kan dezelfde nergens op het internet vinden dus er is ook nergens informatie over te vinden. Kan jij me misschien verderhelpen??
Idol drew I bought the SANSUI G2000 it sounds amazing and the vintage looks wowww I love it but yours idol the SANSUI G7000 is way way bigger and better.
It’s a small tip but it’s a good idea to wash your hands or wear latex gloves when handling the belt. Oils from your hands can cause slippage.
