Hey thanks! Just got a Pioneer PL-15R from Ebay and just wanted to make sure before I screw something up doing something stupid...👍...my platter looked just like yours! BTW, I used Novus plastic polish and got all the scratches out of the dust cover...looks brand-new!
I have a PL-90 Pioneer turntable that needs a belt replacement. I have the belt. I cannot remove the metal turntable. Also there is no hole on the edge where you run it through the pulley that moves the belt. There are 4 holes in the middle of the turntable. It will move up slightly but it won't come off. 8:05 Can anyone give me the solution.
I just got a PL-512 with new belt, but the 2 speed doesn't change when I toggle the switch... Maybe I need to change the belt again but the guy said it's a new belt.
Hey Otto, can you help? I have exact same model pl-510a...BUT my platter only has 2 small inner holes NOT elongated holes for placement of belt.!?? What can I do????
Hi I have a pioneer pl-a300 turntable I replaced the belt but it wont work correctly. When I select the 33 speed I cannot get the correct speed the speed is less than 33rpm If you can please help me
Try turning it by hand with the belt off or just turn the spindle with the platter off. If it's hard to turn/feels gritty the spindle may need replaced.
Thank you so much! Great detail and good camera work illustrating what I need to do!
