Immersive Engineering: Refinery (How to make Biodiesel)

I wanted to make some Phenolic Resin. I made acetaldehyde and pumped it back in without realizing there was 50mB extra ethanol in the system. Is there any way to extract that without breaking the entire machine and losing my acetaldehyde?
EDIT: Never mind. I got it out by right-clicking the input with a Fluid Tank

I was fully expecting the refinery to consume the nitrate dust, so I built a nitrate dust factory (I couldn't figure out how to input the nitrate dust automatically, so I came here) only to learn it was a complete waste of time :( but, I guess I could use it to mass produce fertilizer though I not sure I'd use the fertilizer.

I'm not sure why, but the UI is completely different for me. I'm playing Sky Factory 3, and it has:
fluid gauge,
two item slots,
fluid gauge,
two item slots
fluid gauge,
two item slots,
power gauge.

can you automate the input of the catalyst? if so how?

Normally this wouldn’t need any more then 1 catalyst because it does not have durability. If there is no blue dot somewhere on the machine it does not have an item import option but if you do need to try placing hoppers until it works if at all.

is there a way to transfer ethanol or plant oil manually into the refinery?

No but a pipe connected to the squeezer and fermentor will move to the refinery without a pump

What are you trying to fill it with ? As in a pump or a tank

i have NO idea why my refinery wont produce biodiesel, i have a system feeding plant oil and ethanol into it, there's nitrate dust, it has power and its on but absolutely nothing happens

So it has ethanol inside the tanks and plant oil with nitrate and Power…make sure there is no redstone signal stopping it from running OR it may need redstone in some rare cases put a lever on the red dot 🔴 to test it out
