Dear Devidasji, This I found to be one of the most Powerful Meditations I have ever done in my whole Life!Thank you very much! God Bless you!-From Mumbai
I'm so delighted that I saw this on my RUclips, this is my first time practicing it & I can feel the warm heat/ energy generating in my whole body the first few minutes but I dont understand those terms/ vocabularies. I dont know what they means I wish you have descriptions and meaning of those vocabularies so I can visualize it, beside that I think it's an fabulous meditation that literally could heal us. Thank you & wishing everyone love, peace & speedy recovery. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
This practice is extremely valuable. The energy healing modalities I have studied over the years before my deeper journey into yoga - your practice part of my expanding awareness- have neglected this focus of prana distribution for the practitioners necessary for them to continue their work staying grounded and balanced. Om shanti. 🙏
Today, I decided to give myself the gift of a lifetime. I did power yoga at 5:00 am, with a breathtaking sunrise of the ATITLAN LAKE in Guatemala 🥰. At 10:00 am, I did a magical kundalini yoga class..to finish up with this yoga nidra meditation... I Went to the stars and to the infinite love within my self 🌟✨💫💥🌈🌙 SO VERY GRATEFUL FOR THIS 💫👏🥰
Did this practice today as I was feeling a bit under the weather and it seems to help! ⚡️However, I was a little puzzled by some leg shaking, kind of like a intermittent discharging sensation that was happening during first half of practice. What is this a sign of? Thank you so much! 🙏🌻
My 2nd listen and trying to type is very difficult as I am so calm and relaxed and the last thing i want to do is type as i would rather savour this moment but very important to give thanks and gratitude when we can. I understand why people ask for more instructions as my body mind and soul really get lost in a powerful journey following the guidance and my mind can certainly jump from from direction to the next with beautiful ease. This means I catch myself thinking where should I be directing breath and thats when I get a bit lost and my mind chatter shows itself. The best thing I can do is quick just bring it back to breath awareness that we are taught on other Yoga Nidra sessions and as my breath comes back I am ready for the next guided prana instruction. This takes practice and I really need to learn the real names for the chakras as when I'm flowing with energy and joy its difficult for me to remember each chakras point so I must work on this but again if I forget I just go back to breathing. I am learning to have total faith in my breathing and know that it will help me direct my breath and prana to heal and release. Right now my vibrations are buzzing, my edges feel infinite and I am glad that I took the time to try and show my gratitude. These need practice by us and thank you for previous ones that have helped me get to this stage this morning. The reason that I do these is because I can't remember my past, I know I have lived a good life but I cant remember who I was and I have created many masks over my life and I am using this to help me heal from years or drug abuse and anti depressants This lockdown has been the spark needed to stop taking anti depressants and take control of my life in the present. I use sickness as a weapon and I was an hypochondriac and from the first moment to the last was looking for ways to escape the present moment and hide from something. Yoga Nidra is helping me find peace in that moment Prana Nidra is releasing the knots in my brain that make me jump to mental and physical signs of illness and pain. Yoga Nidra ans Prand Nidra combined gives me the strength to just breathe and remember that I was put on this earth for a purpose. Thank you for your guidance during the times and I will keep practicing and learning with your help. Words are not enough ❤
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such an insightful and valuable comment. Yes, this is an advanced prana nidra session, and as such we should already be familiar with the names and locations of the chakars as were covered in the earlier beginners prana nidra sessions. You may want to go back over the earlier sessions a bit more so that the process of moving prana through the nadis is more internalized before you attempt this one. Thank you for participating! Hari Om, ~Sri
WOW! NICE OF YOU TO SHARE YOUR YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. WE CAN ALL LEARN SOMETHING FROM OTHERS, NO MATTER THE STAGE. I CONGRATULATE YOU FOR PERSEVERING AND BEING COMMITTED TO YOUR HEALTH. KEEP UP & NEVER GIVE UP TO BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE WITH SELF LOVE.... YOU'RE STARTING TO COLLECT THE FRUITS OF YOUR LABOR. PEACE, LOVE & BLESSINGS🙏✌💜☮️💟ॐ
It was a good healing practice, but the problem is the terms used in guiding meditation. Different locations have names that are not known for beginners. How could the guided meditation be followed?
This prana nidra practice is profound! In combination with reading Prana & Pranayama recently , this is so on point to my experiential practice of embodiment of the vayus. Infinite thanks! I’m literally seeing Sacred geometry neon white blue star patterns from this deep meditation. Whoa ✨🙏🏾✨ *One question : why is the queueing in the end to bring the prana from Ajna to moladhara to complete? Is the goal not to expand the seat of intuition, Ajna ? Or is the idea the expansion of Ajna while bringing the attention back to the root Chakra for grounding? I’m studying in an ancient lineage of tantra & interested in your lineage , reason & thoughts on this.... thanks!
Yes, it is for grounding. Let's compare the role of the chakras in Prana Vidya to a water system. Muladhara is the artesian source beneath the ground. Sushumna is the piping. Manipura is the resevoir. Vishuddhi is the filter. Ajna is the faucet where the water is directly accessed from. Once you are finished using the water you don't leave it at the faucet or it will just dissipate away (can also cause light headedness and dizziness/headache), you return it either to the reservoir or down the well back to the artesian source. You are awakening Ajna just by doing this practice, however Ajna is not a suitable place to store prana. If you notice you are lightheaded or have a headache after Prana Vidya it is most likely because you did not return all the prana back down to Muladhara. However, as an alternative you can return prana to Manipura, as this is your natural reservoir of prana shakti. Does this make sense? Thank you for watching and offering your feedback! Hari Om
Namaste. This makes perfect sense! The analogy of the artesian water source really helps. Very helpful to know not to store prana in ajna - I was actually experiencing a headache ( & I NEVER get headaches) from a khabalbhati practice : moving energy up from moladhara to ajna then experimenting with holding prana at anahata before doing this prana nidra. Very crucial & timely divinely guided response to my inner question. Thank you for your very practical explanation! Hari Om Sat Nam Hari Om 🙏🏾
i have a mild form of autism known as aspergers, it seems to be something that only started to become diagnosed in the last few decades in the west, i only found out recently what it was that practically wreaked havoc on my life since being a small child, although it doesnt seem like being diagnosed has any practical purpose at my age, it doesnt seem like there is any quick fix cure to undo the condition etc. what im curious to know is? do ancient yogic understanding of the human physical/mental condition have any documentation of these type of things and possibly traditional methods to deal with them ?
While not terming them the same way, yogic knowledge of all forms of illness states that the cause is in the mind, and in particular the psyche. It doesn't matter what our outer state is because the inner Self is the only true constant reality. Any state of mind that is not aware of Self is under the influence of avidya (ignorance). Therefore the approach is the same for all: Meditation. We gradually learn to transcend all the outer elements of who we are, from the body to the emotions, to the mind, to the contents of the psyche. That goal of pure blissful and featureless consciousness is the same in all. In that state there is no suffering as you have transcended all these outer layers of our being. This can also be experienced during yoga nidra. The more we experience that perfect peace of our own true nature, the more we become established in the awareness to That.
I had a very profound experience. May I ask the source of these exercises that you conduct on this channel? I am asking this because during the practice, at times I feel scared that what will happen if something goes wrong, and I will mess up my body. Any guidence on that part will be really helpful. thanks
Namo Narayan Blessed Self, These authentic yogic practices are coming from the Swami Sivananda Saraswati lineage, through Swami Satyananda Saraswati. You don't have to worry about these practices causing any harm, there is an intelligence within the Shakti that will not increase it's power until you are ready. She is a goddess, not an inert force of nature. Thank you for listening! Hari Om, Devatma
Can I ask, should there be a repeat of the Sankalpa at the end of this? I do repeat it at the end as I feel its letting it go as it is no longer needed.
Its nice meditation but it starts getting complicated when it starts saying the word muladrana..and all the other words that other people can't understand
When you say 'other people' you mean yourself? Remember! We can only speak for what we ourselves understand, we cannot speak for what others may or may not understand. This is an advanced meditation, we cannot spend time in beginners concepts always or we will always be stuck on that level. If you don't understand something, research it and then come back when your understanding is matured. Thank you and Hari Om!

Yes, the second repetition of the sankalpa can be done when you are most relaxed.
