I have the original blue edition and love them. Just ordered a couple of decks of these new, red ones. I like the blue ones simply because I personally prefer blue; so I hope he makes this current version available in blue in the future. I am not a ‘card’ magician, so I don’t do the fancy shuffles or deck controls. I have gotten into mentalism these last several years and these suit me perfectly. The marks are easy to read, (without my reading glasses on), but not obvious to spectators handling the cards. I have my spectators handling the cards all the time, so having the PVC/plastic ones means the deck stays beautiful and functioning much longer than a regular deck of cards. These were certainly created with mentalists in mind and I love that! I used to live in Florida, (U.S.), and it is extremely humid there all year. If you have any kind of outdoor gig or if you’re even going from inside to outside with a deck of cards in the Florida summer humidity, your cards can experience all kinds of related changes that affect both handling and the life of the deck. The plastic material and the marks were what drew me to this deck in the first place and going forward, I will always buy the latest plastic edition(s) of Steve Dela’s Night Flight deck. One last thing: I often perform at functions with ‘spooky’ themes, (particularly in the Fall), and the back designs, (bats and spiders), just fit wonderfully with those events, as well as my overall personal tastes. The markings on this deck are my second favorite of any marked cards I’ve ever seen or used and since the cards containing my favorite marks don’t come in plastic, the Night Flight deck has become my favorite deck with which to perform mentalism!
Just make sure you get to the BlackCatMagic stand nice and early as I feel stock will go very quickly :) Shame I cant go to Blackpool as work is fully booked up.

No the gaff deck is paper stock to match the Elite deck. I don't think we will see a PVC style gaff deck.
