As a Louisville fan man I’d love to be in the big 12.
Definitely in the right footprint for it.
WVU fan here…. Love to have Louisville, VATech and Pitt in the BIGXII
They will be.
No sympathy for Syracuse or BC here. They've been taking Power 5 football money for years, but refused to invest it back into their football programs. They've leeched off of Clemson and FSU's TV ratings to get lucrative TV revenue that they never would have gotten on the merits of their programs...Swafford was an imbecile for bringing them into the conference to begin with, but that doesn't matter now. It's all going away and now they will have to make due with what they deserve on their merits.
What do you expect, Swafford was a chapel hill guy
CUSE and BC were demands of MIAMI, which FSU supported. T-Road objected to some degree.
If football is the main driving factor here, why does anyone want UNC? Their last ACC title was in 1980.
The seating capacity of Kenan Stadium is 50,000. Vanderbilt is the only SEC school with a smaller capacity.
Because as much as these guys like to pretend they know what’s going on they actually know nothing. All of their info comes from “twitter sources”. These people all claim winning matters while in the very same sentence saying the SEC and B1G want UNC and Virginia. The truth is nobody except the Conference Presidents, school AD’s and lawyers actually know where everyone is going.
They get decent TV ratings. Football TV ratings are all that matter here. Performance doesn't matter. That's why Miami is valuable too. TV ratings are all that matter.
Because North Carolina's population keeps growing. They want to get into the market, and UNC is the biggest brand in the state.
In football or basketball?
Miami has no market. They have to give tickets away and still don't fill their stadium. That is the difference between them and FSU. Their fans are indifferent when they aren't a top 5 team.
Point taken. Also, part of that is there is nothing in Tallahassee other than FSU, just like Gainesville and UF. Miami is a thriving city with shit tons of stuff to do. You really have to fight hard to keep people's attention and earn their money. Miami fans are not going to show up on the regular if the university is not even serious about the football program. Now that they are once again serious, we will see if there is an uptick in attendance.
Have yall even looked at the revenue numbers for these schools??? UVA and Miami aren’t all that. NCSU and VT are way undervalued
Agreed, 100%
It’s tv money, not revenue these conferences want
My man, have YOU looked at the revenue numbers? Where are you getting your information from? I'll site my source, according to USA Today Top 25 revenue earning college athletic programs for 2022, that's the 2022 - 2023 football year. Their list of top 25 of college athletic TOTAL revenue generated... there are 4 ACC teams on this list. The first ACC team is Virginia at #14, FSU at #15, Clemson #17, & Louisville #23.
So you must be talking emotionally. On3 reported on it on 6/14/2023
Miami WILL join the B12. The B1G and their partners are into packed stadiums. UCLA has a similar problem, but is already in the B1G, and the problem will diminish. Miami needs a stadium. The SEC won't bother with considering the Canes.
Miami has not been relevant in 21 years. NOT BEEN RELEVANT ≠ IRRELEVANT
Yeah Georgia was IRRELEVANT for 40 years, 😂😂😂
I hear they have massive NIL bucks.
As putrid as The U has been in the lady 20 yrars. you still haven't taken the lead in head to head wins, still haven't caught up in national titles..... so that still makes fsu the little bother. Also I guarantee if you put this so called insider on a miami channel he'd say something different. Appease your host
The Big 12 should get Pitt, Louisville, Miami, Virginia Tech and NC State.
He's no B12 insider lol. He's a goof who guesses and is usually wrong
Toll should change his name to Troll because that is what he acts like. Especially pushing OSU and WSU on the Big XIi when they clearly do not want them
Find a woman who loves you like Drake loves the Big12, and run. Run like your life depends on it. No one needs that much crazy and obsession.
Well why don't you treat us with your vast wealth of knowledge? Then go on RUclips profess your knowledge and deal with trolls like yourself. Until you do that I'd be quiet if I was you.
He is whack
Usually wrong?? How about ALWAYS wrong!
Drake is spot on
FSU (florida market), GT (atlanta market), UNC (carolina market), one of the Virginia schools (DMV market) plus ND (national market) are the only schools the B1G is considering.
Another thing I don’t think Florida State and Clemson challenge the grand of rights the way they have unless they know, and feel secure that they will have a landing spot in one of those power 2 leagues..big 10 or sec.
I have a question. The Big 12 is set for the base schools to get around $50 per school with the additions to get around 12 million less than that number this summer.
The contract if anyone read it states the following ESPN will Pro rate up to 4 Schools. Fox will renegotiate which they did and agreed to pay same as ESPN.
HERE IS THE QUESTION!
If Big 12 takes on any ACC schools, That means both ESPN and Fox must renegotiate the worth of the Big 12. What would be the effect and possible new number that could be deployed?
Second Question! People have a short memory. Both FSU and Clemson have for years have asked to join the Big 12. There was a Big effort just before the current bad ACC contract was done. But Bowlsby refused to act in Big 12 interest as ACC hired him help fix their issues.
Should the Big 10 and SEC decide to stay at their current number punting the expansion down the road a few more years, Could the Big 12 just take 2? That theoretically could bump the payout for the Big 12 to close to 60 million a year would it not?
The Big 10 contract is not as big as media is reporting and that is now proving to be somewhere in the low to mid 60s number as they are still negotiating and working on the flawed math of the agreement.
Big 10 is waiting on ND and one other as the next move. SEC has stated they already have all the valuable markets in the SE locked up and is not expected to take any new teams. What is the take given the realities not lies and crap that is thrown out to see what hits the wall?
Something that has not been stated is that back when VT tried to get into the ACC, there was a push by many to have Syracuse in instead, but the governor and the legislature of VA stepped in and fought to have VT put in instead because of the economy of SW VA is so linked to UVA and VT being together. Remember, Syracuse eventually got in, but not initially. I think VT and UVA will be a package if they go anywhere. Personally, I feel, "Let whichever schools want to leave go, and keep those who wish to stay." These conferences are getting way to big. What makes good rivals are playing each other annually, not the big money that is being tossed around at the expense of the students.
Georgia Tech, UNC, and Miami go to B10.
GT and Miami being first out.
Oh, y’all starting to do a lot of cameos discussing the same matter from different conferences. Is this going to turn into a competition?
Rerun of Locked on Big 12
As a Va. Tech fan I would like to see them in the big 12
I am genuinely surprised at the take of UVA and UNC over NC State and VT you cite football as what drives the needle for realignment and then immediately say two schools that have strong basketball programs but UNC does not even break the top 5 in football viewership and UVA is bottom 3 meanwhile NC States viewership was the third most viewed Acc school behind Clemson and Florida state
It's because these guys, like with most talking heads, do not understand North Carolina collegiate sports.
They want the flagship university. Simple as that. State simply isn’t the brand that UNC is.
In Football?
They quite literally bring in less money and views then most ACC schools in basketball there a power house but these guys said football is what matters in conference realignment but UNCs football program isn’t even relevant in the ACC
nobody (other than the guys on the podcast) are arguing that UNC is a football power. what they aren't saying...but everyone knows...is that UNC is a national brand (due to basketball, jordan brand, history) that people care about. Apart from the final 4 run last month, nobody outside of NC really cares about NC State athletics. I didn't go to either school...I'm just being honest. If it hurts your feelings, i'm sorry....but touch grass.
Who picked that shirt for you ????????????????/
Well, Miami and UNC are AAU certified schools, FSU and Clemson are not. It’s important for the B10 conference. Take that for what’s it’s worth.
These guys are entertainment only with the ability to hit once in a while. I hope that the dollar figure goes up so high that is no longer possible for the media to profit. The bloated AD of the schools have to cut back and NIL and portal issues are rectified and some sense of sensibility comes to the sport. This is simply not attainable long term. Not a prediction, but a plea for sanity to prevail. God bless you all
Complete no nothings
The thing with NC State is that their spot will likely be carried by UNC-CH. There are talks that the BoG in NC is making them a "package deal". But it is unclear on what that means exactly.
I spit out my drink when he said about ignoring the legislation for Virginia and NC. You’re gonna have to get that fixed and the way the timeline is currently and with how fast the legislature works (slower than a snail) I highly doubt either would get that separation.
If the B1G were smart they would target unhappy top brands for invitation. FSU (not happy with ACC $) and Texas A&M (unhappy Texas joining the SEC). Add FL & TX and B1G would have a presence in all the big population states.
Why would the B1G target all the malcontents of college football? The B1G takes the flagship school of a state. Texas A&M and FSU are neither.
@johneaston197 So whodo you think is the flagship in Florida, Miami with no championship wins in 20+ years, UF that has lost to FSU in the last 3 - 4 years, UCF who was not in a top 5 conferences until recently. So FSU is the top Florida football team.
UF is the flagship University of Florida. It has nothing to do with FSU winning the last 3 or 4 years in football. Google what school is the flagship of Florida and you’ll see what defines the flagship school.
Who is Google? 😂 I didn't know alphabet had an opinion on college football!! 😂😂
How about quoting the source that Google was referencing 🙄 @@jansonroberts2616
You're on to something there. If IM the B1G i go after ATM too. Its a fit academically, a big brand, gets you into Texas.. And you're correct that they're not happy about the horns invite
I like this guy Drake. I have watched his channel a few times and I always seem to agree with his take, so far.
And as a communications major and former debater, this guy has the best radio voice I have heard in a long time!
In the Big 12 going forward University of Houston is gonna be a school that grows fast . Houston itself is one of the top hotbed for recruits and now there is a power conference team in the city and billionaire booster in Tilman Fertitta and many corporations based in Houston. Houston has 2nd most fortune 500 companies in the world behind New York City.
University of Houston it will be exciting to see where they are 5 yrs from now.
They will be playing for big 12 championships, that's abt it. Kids are sellouts. They will always go w the hot hand. And Houston in the big12 aint it
We thought that about South Florida. Hopefully you're correct.
“Football is king”
“UNC and Virginia are valuable to the BIG10”
This is absurdly contradictory. Both those football programs and poor.
Amen but people keep saying it, over and over
Additional teams is not about wins on the field. Big 10 gets Miami Then big 10 has the top 4 TV markets.
UNC and UVA get the BIG into Southern TV markets that they dont have..also opens up avenues for recruiting in SEC territory..hence, they are valuable
@@carsonc29 yes but there are more valuable football programs in southern markets than these two schools. My point is that everyone keeps saying these two school’s value is propped up by their football programs and that is just false.
@@jonathonjustice7574 those are literally the best Southern TV markets in the South that the ACC has...GATECH is in Atlanta, but UGA has that whole state on lock...UVA doesnt just get you into Virginia, it gets you into the entire DC market
The two best cfb personalities together! Nice,. You guys work really well together.
I feel like this title is on the wrong video or something.
I didn't see an insider or hear of a leak.
The 806 is loaded with football players! Example booger that went to U of Texas, Jalin Conners, that is now with Tech, Kingsburry, Zach Thomas, etc..., and most of thier players recently.
I want to see a video with you two about what team you think would be the grenade pin 📍 in the ACC like CU in the PAC 12 that would happily take a 2 million signing bonus to go to the Big 12 and start the exit explosion 💥 I think its going to be Pittsburgh or Louisville. Miami is too stupid to do anything to improve their program its why UCF has passed them they even got the Nike deal now 😂.
Brett Yormark is smart he knows $2 million is nothing compared to bumping up his conference another notch and taking out a competitor.
Most conferences prefer public colleges/universities.
In 2023 Florida State ranked 7th as one of the most watched college football teams in the nation with a viewership of 3.5 million people.
Miami ranked 32nd with a viewership of 1.33 M. 😂
As reported by Zach Miller of the Medium, November 29th 2023.
AND?!!! Miami is still a better brand. Ranked 10th, while FSWho is ranked 16th.
That's only because FSU was winning. Not because of any brand.
Hay little 12 duf, Aimes isn't a cow town or in Timbuktu!
How many teams realistically does the B10 and SEC expand to. People forget that each team alone has to be additive be valued at 70+ million per year for B10 and like 65+ million per year for the SEC. If each team u add has to be additive in value how many are worth that before u start taking away from other teamsz I don’t see any conference really going past 20 teams
I agree. That number is 20. That means 2 more for the Big 10 and 4 for the SEC.
@@drgat6953 are there 6 teams that are worth 65M or more and I think it’s close.
I think the B10 takes FSU and UNC after that it gets complicated.
@Knightowl1980 my prediction is that thr Big 10 takes FSU and Clemson and that the SEC two schools in NC and Virginia as package deals with the SEC blessing. That gets you to 20 each.
But that is just my wild speculation 🤣
If the ACC folds. The BIG12. Folds. It’s that simple. There is no way the BIG10 and SEC lets the BIG12 hang around.
True it would just be a matter of when it's over
What recruit did UcF take from Miami? Be for real
Big east for some and independent
San Diego State and SMU, isn't happening. What was that graphic?
The BIG12 already showed they would stand pat before adding them.
Big1O probably adds FSU and Clemson.
The Big 12 probably adds Miami, Louisville, UNC, NC State and PITT.
The remaining ACC teams probably merge with the PAC2.
ND remains independent because they can
UNC is going to be in the Power 2
PAAC-10?
“F” the “U”! Go NOLES! I hope Miami winds up in the big 12. Miami doesn’t deserve to be in the power 2!
I wonder if any of these ACC schools who are left out of the Power 3 go back to the Big East for everything but football. It would be so ironic if that happens since a lot of them left the Big East for what they thought was a better opportunity in the ACC.
I think everybody’s clearly mistaken of how this realignment is going to shape out to be for the future. It’s not about revenue anymore. It’s about making the playoffs. Look a lot better with just these two conferences. I’m pretty sure they’re going to poach teams from the big 12 as well, I’ve been saying this for a while but it’s going to be these two major conferences have about 50 schools combined so the college playoffs would look better for the 2030s when most of the old people pass away or don’t matter anymore
Use aau just saying, think about it 😮
See you soon Notre Dame! I am inevitable.
Sincerely,
The Big Ten
Notre Dame isn't joining a conference until the super league happens.
@@davidb3422 Oh, they’ll be in the B1G. It’s only a matter of time, hence why I said the Big Ten is inevitable.
The Irish are joining as soon as ESPN withdraws from the ACC media deal and/or revenue sharing happens. Both are likely before 2028.
@@heartbreak25 Seems likely.
@@briggsofdisaster The B1G has no money to add more teams, they gave Notre Dames spot to Wasington and Oregon. The super league is inevitable which will happen before the next B1G TV deal.
Miami is very high on the B1G list. WHY? Having FSU & the South Florida market is MASSIVE. Also MIAMI is a ND rivalry game. This gives the B1G the 5 biggest ND rivals.
The best point is the last one. This SUCKS. Millions of alumni across the country are being told their programs are less than others because their gear doesn't sell well at Walmart. College sports was never supposed to be like this. Oklahoma ruined CFB in 1984.
W/o the changes in 1984 you'd have ND and one other game on Saturdays. And college football would be a lot less as a sport.
@@keitht5950 good.
Remnant conference: Syracuse, Boston College, UConn, Duke, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech (or Pitt), USF, SMU, Tulane, SDSU, Cal, Stanford, Oregon State, Washington State.
This is a good idea
1:36 they were a life raft for Arizona state
ASU brings location. Just one reason the Big 10 will grab them in the future
Miami has great academics and gets more viewers and is in a better place as a football program than VA, GT, and UNC yet apparently the P2 want those 3. Make it make sense
Miami doesnt have a stadium on campus. Thats loss revenue. The sec doesnt have any school like that. Also i think miami fans are like cowboy fans. Yall support when they are good only. Theres always empty seats at miami games😂
Firstly, I'm sure you know Miami's academics are no where near any of those three. Secondly, GT and UNC are research top 20 schools (in the country). UVA is better in that department than Miami but doesn't absolutely dwarf Miami the way the other two do.
For athletics, UNC has BB... they are the number 1 BB brand in the country. In review, that is in the country. BB may not drive the bus but this program is the best for viewership. They get football levels of viewership for the BB.
UNC/UVA would give them a new state and instate subscriber fees for the BTN and SECN... which Miami (and GT) would only do for the B1G, operating under the assumption FSU isn't their first choice.
All three are larger public schools (than Miami). All three have large, wealthy alumni bases. GT exists in a better market (top CFB market in the country), which is at least a tiny plus. All three have their own stadiums.
Miami has fair weather fans so are only watching when they are good. Cristobal will not make them good. Also Miami is private and SEC only wants public university. Miami hasn't been good in 20+ years.
How is Mia football in a better place than UNC when we've beaten them 5 straight years, come to reality please
@@philpowell5368 UNC plays in a relatively small stadium and they hardly ever fill it.
FSU/Miami will be in the B10. If you are above the age of 35, you know the history of teams like Miami, Notre Dame, USC and Nebraska. The B10 loves those teams with decades of history and will want FSU/Miami/Notre Dame.
@StevenM-qw1ez You are 100% wrong when it comes to the academic side of FSU and everyone already knows that Notre Dame will stay Independant as long as they possibly can.
No one knows until it happens. I just don't care anymore. All these expert prognosticators need something, I suppose. One thing I know for sure...I'll be watching college football on Saturdays, regardless of how this all shakes out.
Literally no ACC teams will go to the little 12. Two teams will leave the ACC, that seems definite. Everything after that is a fantasy if they don’t think they’re going to the Big 10 or SEC
If the two money makers leave then will ESPN renew their conference agreement? If they do then will they pay equal or less than the B12? This decides if teams stay or leave.
ACC is finished
Miami to the Big12
B10 all day.
@@cfbplayoffedits Not a chance
@@MrJohnnySalami bet?
@@cfbplayoffeditsreading the ( tea leaves ) and other information about all this, I don’t see anyone from ACC going to the Big12 until 2030/31; but with lookin clause in 28, the Big12 will evaluate the schools that have submitted their application to potential join Big12 in years past with whom brings most value and viewership and increase the entire conference revenue for all schools in the Big12. It could be Memphis and Boise State after all is said and done or from the ACC Pitt and Louisville.
What I do know is that at least 3-7 schools will be gone from the ACC by 2030 but will have backfill with appropriate schools and probably eliminating any possible recreation of the PAC and probably forcing the MWC and AAC to refill or merge together themselves.
@@cfbplayoffeditsI believe FSU and Miami go to BiG10 and then Clemson either goes BiG10 too or SEC with three other schools or both NC schools and both VA schools go to SEC and the remaining ACC backfills with appropriate schools from G5 and WazzU and OzzU. Hence why in my other response to you I don’t think the PAC will be recreated.
I Think FSU needs to be a little careful in its assumptions. The SEC simply doesn't gain much from FSU and then the BIG10 simply values the state of Florida as a market. If given the option of FSU or Miami I'm not sure which school the conference membership would value more?
Would Miami being AAU help in that case
I, guessing that michigan, ohio state and penn state want miami. But media partners and the rest of the conference want FSU. Stronger brand that compete continually. More value. They will be AAU soon enough if that even matters
Miami is going to whatever conference misses out on fsu.
You forgot to include Clemson, ftr
What's with every XII homer being so anti-ACC? Is it because the ACC would never invite any of them?

LOL
ACC is finished
Almost all ACC schools would rather stay in the ACC even without Clemson and FSU than join the Big 12. I’m a UNC and Duke grad with family from UVA, NCSU, GT, and Miami.
I just can't see the Big Ten adding Miami, FL or Florida State. Geographically, it would make things very difficult. We still remember Miami gangster squads. FSU is in SEC friendly territory.
Miami is DOA to the SEC…Miami is a small metro private school that plays in an NFL stadium. Definitely not SEC….Its AAU status screams B10.
Sec is not friendly to FSU. For years coach Bowden tried to get in and then turned them down when the sec realized FSU is actually a good program. Sec has been dogging fsu ever since

Those aren't natural rivals.
If Miami goes to the SEC or B1G they better get a new HC. Luigi Cristbal will get eaten alive in either of those conferences.
lol, it’s not about Miami not winning title in over 20 years, it’s Market driven, economics 101, The U brand is big. Most teams and conferences know if Miami gets back to Howard Schnellenbergers blueprint, they will win
And yet Texas Tech has back to back Top 25 recruiting classes and the current class is inside the Top 10. Poor old Texas Tech… smh
Their football recruiting class is not inside top 10 for this year or next year or last season. They have not done squat in football since joining the old SWC from the Borderlands Conference. That’s over 70 years ago and counting. No BCS bowls and no NY6 bowls appearances by Texas Tech unless you want to count the two bowl games that were not part of the BCS system and Tech made those a few times but would be part of the NY6 system. Tampon Bleeding TTech have been spewing garbage about recruiting or darkhorse contenders this year and that year or another year or next year in football for quite some time now. SMU was in a power conference. They were one of the top teams into the 80s until the NCAA gave them the death penalty.
Washington State have better football than Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado. So does Air Force, Boise State, Fresno State and Memphis. Those 4 are better the past 10 to 20 years than most of the ACC, Big 12, some SEC and some Big 10. Boise State did beat Georgia, Florida State and Oklahoma who are in the big 2 or going be there some day in the future.
The 'eers are setting pretty good!!!
SEC- Florida St Clemson North Carolina & Virginia
BIG 10- Georgia Tech (Atlanta) & Miami (market)
Nobody’s out of the conference yet. There’s still the small matter of a couple contracts drawn up by real attorneys. No matter what happens, you can keep the b12.
We will make it out, people get out of contracts all the time
It doesn't make any sense to me why the SEC is not clamoring to absorb the ACC. There seems to be so much money there. Even more than it surprised me when they didn't pursue the Southern California teams and Oregon to be a part of the SEC or Baylor, TCU, Houston and Oklahoma State to the SEC. Even if they were to change the name of the conference. It should be about making money not the name of the conference. It not like about even being genius. Miami won't goto the big 12 no way ! No how ! Pitt and lousville well and Georgia tech . Jamie
This channel has some of the most inconsistent takes I have seen and often uses conflicting evidence in his arguments . Why is Virginia a "lock" for the Power 2? The whole video they were saying football moves realignment, not basketball (see their argument for why Duke is not wanted by the Power 2). Virginia has no football history and is consistently bottom 3 in football viewership despite the strong basketball brand. Same applies for UNC, but not as severely. Very mediocre ACC football team (would be a Power 2 bottom feeder), elite basketball brand, but does fit the desirable criteria this channel claims. Based off this criteria, Miami, NC State, and Virginia Tech be more desirable to their superior TV viewership numbers, fan supports, and football history. I don't have a problem with them claiming that Virginia or UNC to be the most desirable to the Power 2 outside of Clemson and FSU, that may be the truth, but the argument that they are good football programs is blatantly and embarrassingly false.
That is false. We may have guest on with differing views, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s our view.
Don't forget they are over looking the fact Unc & NC State are join at the hip
Hell to the no for SMU…and unfortunately I don’t see SDSU either
Big 10 football is soooo overrated. After the top 3, 5 with OU & UW, the rest is pathetic. Miami cannot draw fans, and haven't been since the 80's.
That not true if the team is competitive they will come people have better to do than watch so so football down there repairing the team as we speak, they spend and a lot things are happening around so you need to do your homework. The team was bad do to Miami not really invested in the program while everyone else was handling bags and that true statement, now they can legally watch in the coming year’s.
True
they won the national championship in 2001, and you could argue they also won it in 2002. You’re off by 20 years.
@@marmotmcmarmot2968 Miami draws 30,000 fans. How big of a brand are they if their base fans don't show up.

They are right. Look, have you seen or been to a Miami game lately? No one goes to their games or watches them. I guarantee you that UVA and North Carolina would be offered long before Miami, particularly UNC. They will have their pick. Va Tech would be a better choice than Miami. They have a much better fan base than Miami. Miami hasn't been worth crap in over forty years. They have never sniffed an ACC championship, and they were crushed in the only title game they have ever appeared in. What makes you think that Miami is such a great brand?
The BIG looks at academics , AAU status, and money from research. Miami has all of that over FSU. Their academics alone keep them out of SEC.
They are scared of what Miami could be now that the university is actually backing the football program
@@4daCanesLOL. Fox is paying the B1G $8b to televise their games. Viewership is where the revenue comes from. Eyeballs = Money. No eyeballs, no money. FSU is #7 in viewership, Miami is #32. Not even close.
Academically, FSU is #53 and rising and Miami is #67 and sinking.
@tomsmithdeal775 and FOX is supposedly the one pushing for Miami to the BIG just like they did for Oregon.
NC State grad. If no SEC, I’m happy to stay in the ACC vs going to the Big12.
I ( Clemson guy) think that NC State could be big in football in the right conditions. They are almost always the second or third best team in the ACC. They always have had to play Clemson and FSU every year and that hasn’t helped.Still they usually have some elite players. I have been looking for them to take that next step for years. If they could break away from UNC, that could do it.
Unc and Nc State are a package deal where Unc goes Nc State has togo
Where was FSU Big or SEC invite 30 years ago?OH that's right not one lmfao

Since football moves the needle, these stats speak volumes and none of these insiders have looked at this in particular period.
I know VT struggled for a few years, but things looking better and the fanbase is rabid. Plus alums and recruits all over the DC metro area (DMV). I do not understand why they are not talked about more than UNVC or UVA for the P2
@jeverhart99 true. But it's like I said, the ACC has been driven by FSU, Clemson and VT for the past 20 years. If the conference had an equal revenue sharing, those three teams wouldn't want to join another conference. That's why I believe they are the three top teams in the conference especially when it comes to on field success, fanbases , and athletics as a whole. The only other team that can put their name in the hat is UNC just due to their basketball success. Duke doesn't have as many national titles in the past 20 years as UNC. Nobody else in the conference has even compared in terms of success.
I hate Virginia Tech they lost to James Madison in football when they were a ranked team in the top 25. The ACC lost all credibility because of D2 teams upsetting our so called 3rd or 4th best teams at home.
Va Tech should get demoted they also lost to Liberty and Old Dominion in football. Joke ACC programs like Va Tech is why FSU needs out as soon as possible.
@SolarNole. FSU lost to Jacksonville St. Miami lost to Middle Tennessee St. Should the conference have demoted FSU before 2013 since they were nearly irrelevant after 2005? Or should it have been after getting thrashed by Oregon in the last cfb playoff game with Jameis? Because until this past season, no one heard anything about FSU football being relevant again. Even Florida A&M is winning national titles on national television before FSU has appeared in another title game. That's joke. Share a city with another school and they're defending champions, not FSU.
@@nigelnorman5379 not sure what you are smoking where being undefeated for two years and in the CFP is comparable to Va Tech getting blown out at home multiple times by D2 teams. Even Bama lost a homecoming game to UCF by 2. Losing by 2 or 3 is a lot different from being blown out like Va Tech. How much did you guys pay Old Dominion to drop 49 points on you?
Doesn't matter if Miami has been successful on the field. They still get good TV ratings so they're valuable.
Once again another Miami fan who lives in a dream state.
In 2023 Florida State ranked 7th as one of the most watched college football teams in the nation with a viewership of 3.5 million people.
Miami ranked 32nd with a viewership of 1.33 M. 😂

Nobody has said why ACC /B12 and PAC2 shouldn’t join up . With more power to negotiate with ESPN .
Enough regional teams to,be competitive and excentuate their strengths….BB and national coverage.
FB prowess will always be second tier to SEC/B10..admit it and accept it and move on.
“Football is what moves the needle”, and also “UNC and Virginia are going to the Big 10 or SEC”. UNC and Virginia are in the bottom 5 of the ACC in football Viewership. The 2 statements above are not compatible.
ACC bottom 3 over the ten years UNC 12, UVa 14, Wake Forest 15
And there is Notre Dame who doesn’t want to join a conference
No one cares anymore.
FSU, Notre Dame, Clemson,UNC,Virginia and MAYBE Miami make the power 2. After that there will be no more.
Unc can't go anywhere without Nc State do some research
Not sure if SEC will expand, but if it does, it will get two of the following four: Clemson, FSU, UNC and UVa.
The Big 10 will take at least two.
The only way Miami moves to the SEC or B1G is if the B1G is unable to get FSU and settles for Miami to get in Florida.
The only way NCSU and Va. Tech move is if they are a package deal and either conference is hellbent to have a presence in said state.
The most likely scenario for the Big 12 is four of the following: Louisville, Pitt, NCSU, Va. Tech and Miami. With Duke, UVa. and Clemson being remote possibilities.
UNC fan - you are way off on the Clemson brand. They are historically a great program. They went through a dry spell which is out of the ordinary. I don’t think that take is close to being accurate
That dude is clueless. He throws anything at the wall and hope it sticks.
ACC better all around conference than any conference. Big 12 would be like going to Conference USA. Please don't overrate your conference.
Miami is AAU
I need to get drunk and do one of these podcasts just to waste time and BS and troll people.
If Nebraska gets kicked out of the Big 10 they should come back to the Big 12.
So let me get this straight. UCF and WVU and better programs than NC State and Va Tech?.....uhhh....no.. Also, NCSU may end up in the Big 12, and they would be lucky to get them cause they are a program that continues to grow in success across the board as does the city and region they exist in. Unlike many BIg 12 schools. NCSU is currently in 7th in the country in Directors cup standing and football will be preseason top 20. Raleigh NC and North Carolina is now the 9th largest State in the country and will continue to grow as well.
WVU vs NC St and VTECH...all seem close, tough call. I like all three. Tech has very loyal fans, larger attendance in bad times than the rest. UCF brings a good recruiting market to the conference and if they win big (possible) they could be a new name on the scene down the road a bit.
@@peters822and Virginia isn’t a good recruiting market
Wvu and ucf are a better program
@@rickterry8991 Sure they are, LOL... by what metrics?
@@Tyronebiggums371You couldn’t be more wrong, Virginia is a talent rich state. To name a few obvious players Vick, Taylor, Bruce Smith, Tapp, Chancellor, Edmunds Brothers, Fuller brothers, Hooker, etc.
If the B1G can't get unc, they will take Miami with FSU!
Unc can't go anywhere without Nc State google it
Miami because they use to be a great team 30 years ago??? I get so tired of these certain people that always use the history of 30 or more years ago to push for certain teams to get invited into a certain conferences. What have they done lately????
Well based on that remark…what has 3/4 of the sec and big 10 teams done lately
@@UknowitU With the exception of Vanderbilt, every other team in the SEC has been ranked in the top 10 at some point in the last decade.
@@justadude99simply because they're SEC...
Miami has the TV market the SEC and Big10 will want. FSU’s TV market still has fans that use rabbit ears on their TV’s!
Miami has no fans though. Been to HardRock? It’s maybe 25% of capacity.
L take bro. U clearly don’t watch football
Not true, fsu has far and away the best tv viewership in the acc. Would be top 3-4 in the sec or b10 as well. Thats why they are the most desired
