Still awesome lil trucks! 1st new Toyota was a Chrysler Jeep Ram guy my whole life but Toyota really won me over when shopping for little truck that’s great off road.

@@soapbox187 There was a time when ordinary cars were ROUTINELY offered in 12-24 different colours. These days we get white, black and gray. Anything else is considered a bonus. Enjoy your mean, green Tundra machine.
I regret going super white. Mainly because after I got mine, 5 or 6 other sheep in my small town got the identical color taco as me. Barcelona red is awesome!

Jeff, do you happen to know which packages with the Off Road and the Sport include heated seats? I’m waiting on my 2021 Sport with the basic Technology Package to arrive at the dealer and I can’t for the life of me figure out if it will have heated seats. Thanks! Love your videos
I had no idea you can get navigation and a powered moonroof in a Tacoma 4X4 and press a button to engage 4 wheel drive. I had a Toyota 4x4 that you had to get out of the truck and turn the left and right front hubs to engage 4 wheel drive. Cool features!!

@@dietmdew845 Yes I got it, I didn't order it, it was already built at the factory but it was going to a different dealership so my dealership had to switch the black truck they ordered to the white one I wanted.. It took about 3 weeks

Just bought this truck I wanted the heated leather seats but they want to put in a sunroof I hate sunroofs they leak so I ended up getting the fabric seats and tech package led and fogs Trd off road 4x4 DCSB in sky silver really nice truck now I have to install heated seats after market

That’s a beauty I love the Barcelona red. Actually own a 2020 limited double cab Tundra in Barcelona red. By the way your videos are awesome wished the sales guy that sold my truck had your kind of energy.
You picked the best color on offer.
It’s seems everyone wants a grayish cement or black color trucks. Don’t get me wrong those colors are awesome but somehow the Barcelona red stood out to me in the off road package. I use to be very critical of red color vehicles thought they were to bright but this Barcelona red is so subtle.
@@joe49empire93 To me, gray is not a color it is the absence of color. A couple of years ago I almost bought a Barcelona Red SR5 Tacoma but we could not agree on the price. We ended up with a Raceway Blue TRD Sport Tacoma instead. Just as a comparison, there was a time when ordinary cars were sold in 16-24 colors. Now some models come in as little as 4 choices. With technological improvements and computer aids, customers should have more choices today not fewer. Lastly, take good care of that Tundra it is a 20 year truck. Use the best engine oil and lubricants and, if you live in an area where the roads are salted in winter, rustproofing is mandatory. Happy trails.

I'd check with your Toyota dealer to see if their accessories dept can add it with Toyota parts.
I just bought the same truck, same color, but no LED headlight package. I added LED bulbs for $60 instead.
I love the look of the Tacoma. That said, the sticker price is tough to justify when you can get a full-size V8 4x4 Silverado for a little less than this mid-size V6.

What is the difference between a Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 Limited and a Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 Off-Road? Do they both have navigation and a moonroof and power sliding rear window?
They’re exactly the same except the limited has weaker looking exterior. Literally no interior differences between that and any trd with premium package. Not sure why it’s even “limited.”

I can’t wait to get my TRD OR in cement. I am 6’3, so I think I may opt out for the premium package and save myself some head room.

Depends on where you are and what place in line you were. We have a 2 to 4 month wait at my dealership

You can still get the Off Road in 2 wheel drive, it's just not called PreRunner any longer.

Jeff I’m about to go buy my first Tacoma but need to know the comparison between the TRD Sport and TRD Off Road.
Sport is geared for more of a street truck look/function... Sport includes a hood scoop, color matched painted over fenders, upgraded street tuned suspension... Does not have: multi terrain select (MTS), Crawl Control, Rear Diff locker, or skid plates...
TRD Off Road is geared toward more of a off road look/function... Does not have a hood scoop (Sport/Pro feature)... It does have plastic over fenders (black), upgraded off road tuned suspension, MTS (w/4x4), Crawl Control (w/4x4), Rear Diff Locker (4x2 and 4x4), skid plates... I may have missed a few things but this should cover the bulk of your question... My suggestion is if you are not going to take this off road and you prefer the look of the hood scoop and painted flares go with the TRD Sport... If the truck is going to come into contact with dirt TRD Off Road is the way to go... Try and get one of the TRD packages paired with a 4x4 even if you don’t believe you’ll need it... The resale value shrinks without the 4x4 even in a warm weather area...
For the amount of money you spending on the Tacoma. Why does it still have REAR DRUMS? Because the Tundra and 4runner has moved away from rear drums...
Would be a nice truck if it didn't have such an underpowered 3.5 V6 the slightest incline its down shifting how they can put a tow rating on it is beyond me
The TRD Off-road package has a stiff suspension that makes it ride really rough. I opted for the TRD Sport package. It has a much more tolerable ride and makes for a better daily driver. It also has the 9.4 inch clearance and it goes off-road just fine and does so without beating you up. Also the Tacoma Off Road package owners complain about less power and mpg. The bigger tires and wheels and ride height cause more drag on the V6. Most people, including myself, don’t go off road very often so you are paying 4-7 thousand dollars more for the off road packages that aren’t used off road very often.

Love my 2019 Tacoma so much, I am in the process of ordering a new 2021 exactly the way I want it. Only thing I am sad about is that they took away the black/orange accent on the fabric seat option. The only choice now is either black/cement gray fabric, or the leather :( C'mon Toyota, some of us truck guys like flashy sporty interiors to. Please!! :D The red is too bright for me, but I'd love a nice deep burgundy.
