I have an All Season Solar Cooker, too. Really like those small roasting pans, as well. Tip: When you put the roasting pan in the oven bag, leave plenty of air space for the bag to inflate as the inside gets hot. The more air inside, the more insulating by trapping the heated air. Where the bag actually touches the roaster, heat can escape much easier.
    Thanks for sharing.

Ohhhh my gosh, Thank you so much for that tip!! I totally appreciate that. I tried a chicken and it did not cook all the way through, I bet that would big a big reason why. I love this so much. thank you. I am going to be trying again. PS I got that little roaster oven for .50cents at the thrift store! WIN!!!!! lol... Have a great day my friend.

That meatloaf looks so delicious! Thanks so much for demonstrating how to use the solar oven. I'm saving up for one, but wasn't sure about the best way to cook stuff in it. I appreciate the tips you and other commenters shared here.

My pleasure! I am really enjoying this cooker. I can't wait to try more stuff. I will try chicken again in hopes that it will cook all the way through this time. Using the awesome tips that I have received. Better together for sure! Have an awesome wknd my friend!

Well done! You'd like to avoid the sticker on your bag in future. It blocks off some of the sun.
Still, looking very delicious! The cooker doesn't dry out your meat like a stove top or oven would, hence your doubts about it being done. It locks in all your ingredients making the meat more moist and tender than any other cooking method!! Yum, yum, yum!

Thank you so much. I truly appreciate those tips. 😊 I didn't realize the meat would stay moist in the solar oven like that. I am really looking forward to cooking more in it. It seriously gives me so much gratification cooking with the sun. Have a blessed day, my friend. ~Sammie

@@bluefeatherhomestead Oh you're welcome 🙂 Yes, it's pure joy! Here in South Africa, we have 3 units of the smaller model, and we do all our cooking in them every chance we get. On a cloudy day our fridge is already loaded with food, while the electric oven is covered with a drape to stop it from catching dust heehe. It's amazing how versatile these brilliant little cookers are!

I recommend it. It is so gratifying knowing that you can use the power of the sun to cook your family a good meal. I am really needing to practice with more foods. It is so fun! I've seen other types that have a box built in & they look fantastic. This cooker was under $100.00 & I am really happy to have it. You just have to create your own oven with it.

Wow that looked awesome! Seems like 8 hrs would be a long time but same concept with a slow cooker. Save on gas and the house doesnt have to heat up!

Thanks. It really does seem long doesn't it? I may have cooked it to long. Lololol...... I've heard that you cant burn food in it so that's a plus. I really need to practice with some more foods. It is so fun!!!

The last time I looked at solar cookers, it just didn't seem worth it. That was about 15 years ago. That meatloaf tells me I need to revisit solar cookerrs

I have an All Seasons Solar Cooker and it is worth it. Ever think about hard boiled eggs without using water? Baked potatoes via the sun? Easy roast chicken. And more.
