Brother Dave is the embodiment of wholesomeness. Also, I echo the comment below regarding a 1 year challenge. Maybe you make the end goal to have enough cash on hand to make the down payment on an average "starter" house. It would get really interesting once yard sale season is over, and you could add a rule that any connections or buys moving forward you have to build on your own. As always, looking forward to the next one :D
The type of listing hes talking about is where you have 1 listing and its like Carded Star Wars Return Of The Jedi Action Figures and theres a drop down where you choose which figure you want to buy and can get multiple different figs in the same order saving on shipping
Whoa 😳 Ya'll actually listed the Intellivision console for $599.99 + shipping? Have you seen the sold comps? Talk about shooting for the moon lol. Good luck!
Yes keep the series going. "First year of a reseller". Using all of the advise from the discord and the listing challenges lets see what a new store can do.
Great series guys. I'm watching both channels, trying to build myself up. I'm working marketplace and just started my eBay. You guys have inspired me to do this at 53 years old. Thank you and please keep the series going and the teaching aspect of what you do so well.
Maybe Brother Dave is thinking about variation listings? You could have a listing for "Star Wars Figures" then the viewer can choose which figure they want from a drop down box.
Before I even start watching this video I wanna let the ad run to say this is the very first series on RUclips I’ve eagerly awaited every week and watched on time! Great job guys!
What Al Pal stated in this video about the differences between relisting & "sell similar" on ebay completely contradicts what has been stated in previous videos. Previously, you have stated that a new item number is only generated on ebay using "sell similar" as opposed to just relisting the item. So which is correct?
Sell similar gives the item a new number as if it was a brand new listing. When relisting it knows it’s the same item. “Relisting” never really makes sense unless you’re changing the price or title or anything, but even then you should sell similar. If your item has 2 or more watchers, don’t do that but just send offers instead. When you sell similar you lose the watchers, if you relist you keep your watchers BUT it won’t boost it in the algorithm.
If you were starting your eBay business like this at what point can you start paying yourself and what does that look like? Might be an interesting topic to discuss in a future episode.
Enjoy series been full time for 7 yrs roughly 4k items in 3 stores. Biggest issue is new to resell dont buy shelves new. That kind of shelf on market place $15-25. My main storage unit 12x28 has 3 rows of 6'6" edsal/muscle shelves 3500lbs. Out of 12 in there only 1 was bought new rest were used. A lot of items totes, thermal printer and other supplies can be got used to save money.
bought an intellivision for 30 and then wants to list it at 600. Does greed really have to go this far? Do you not think 300 is enough profit? Do you not think you could give more cash to the seller instead of only thinking about yourself (or in this case... chase..)
Yeah - that's smart. They should have paid 300 then got home and found out it was broken possibly. If i find an item for a dollar and can sell for 200 why would i sell for 100 to some random on the internet? Is that greed or being smart? I found a grey copy of n64 turok rage wars for 5 dollars on accident in a blind bag of ten games I offered 5 each for without seeing them. Sold for 550 months later. I felt great about it- the person that bought it knew what i got it for and was still thrilled to add a super clean copy to his collection.
You clearly can't read. Or your very dumb. To answer your question, because your terrible, greedy and or possibly poor. All you resellers are terrible for the collecting community and add nothing to it. You lack skill to have a profession that pays much more than reselling and you love to brag about what you buy for and sell at. Not the best of traits for people. Instead of considering the idea of helping others like many people do that resellers buy from, you resellers constantly put yourself first. It's so hard for you and most of you to take 60 percent of a sold items price and care the game community and have compassion and fun in the community. How can sensible and caring people like yall? I've bought from fellow collectors before and they often give you good prices because they enjoy and like to help those enjoy the hobby together. You guys give us collectors none of this. You only make it harder and make prices stupid
Yes, I only relist if I noticed a mistake. Maybe some people don't want to lose watchers but if you've had an item for sale for a while, end and sell similar is better as it will put your listing higher in the search.
Great series! If you have a specialty category you can make bank. I started specifically doing computers last may and my first month I did 7k on eBay sales at roughly 45-55% profit.
Is there an official eBay swag store? I want a hat and sweater lol. I found them online, but other resellers are selling them, and I would like to shop from an official eBay store if one exists.
I will never stop admiring your low balling tactics, cutting the offer by 50% or even less! I wish I had the nerve to do this!
Is it just me or is brother Dave just so darn likable. Even when he’s lowballing someone he’s very polite. 😂😂

Best reselling series on the internet. Pokemon Pursuit? Nah. House flip? Nah. $10 dollah no hollah all day
The type of listing hes talking about is where you have 1 listing and its like Carded Star Wars Return Of The Jedi Action Figures and theres a drop down where you choose which figure you want to buy and can get multiple different figs in the same order saving on shipping
29:53 oooh that edit was clean brother!!!
Please keep this series going! I enjoy it and look forward to it every single week!
Really don't want it to end.
Whoa 😳 Ya'll actually listed the Intellivision console for $599.99 + shipping? Have you seen the sold comps? Talk about shooting for the moon lol. Good luck!
I really don't want this series to end... The main channel is my absolute favorite out of all the resalers on youtube, but this series is catching up.
Yes keep the series going. "First year of a reseller". Using all of the advise from the discord and the listing challenges lets see what a new store can do.
One of the favourite old peoples saying in england “ its brand new only been use 3 times “ 😂😂😂😂

That's amazing!! Good luck!! 💖💖
Please continue the series’s!! It’s literally my favourite time of the week 😂
man... at $600 that Intellivision will be listed for a while. Good luck though.
I share brother Dave's vibe in life .. much LUV .
"That Things NEW" LOL made me laugh every time. Love this series and look forward to it every week, congratz on the success so far!
Maybe Brother Dave is thinking about variation listings? You could have a listing for "Star Wars Figures" then the viewer can choose which figure they want from a drop down box.
that's what I'm thinking too
Rename the show basement boys. That orange shag carpet was 🔥
Before I even start watching this video I wanna let the ad run to say this is the very first series on RUclips I’ve eagerly awaited every week and watched on time! Great job guys!
Is an eBay basic store worth it. The 0.9% final value fee discount for video games isn’t much for the monthly cost of the store.
Love this series guys! And if you ask me? you should most definitely continue this series! Much love!
I wish you luck, but typewriters are usually just boat anchors. Hard to get anything for them
You should watch the next episode coming out next week😉
@@catrpcrew I never miss an episode!
the magic bullet guy did it himself obviously had a claw for ahand bless his soul lol
The buuuuuuuurp! Hahahahaha so awesome and perfectly timed 😂
Such a motivating video. Literally made me go source as I was watching it.
Just love this series. You must add more weeks to it and and a new goal👏
I sold one of those Big Shot stamp presses for $45 yesterday. Surprisingly decent
Brother Dave killing it this week

OMG sealed calico critters??? open they go for like $10+ each holy cow you paid only $15 for those??? excellent score!
Tekonsha was a fun sale. I went the last day and cleaned up!
Please keep the series going
I appreciate all of the hard work Brother Dave puts in while Sky Guy drives the golf cart around.
True
If you were starting your eBay business like this at what point can you start paying yourself and what does that look like? Might be an interesting topic to discuss in a future episode.
Good video !!! 📈📈📈 doing the basic, you will break the game , but not many , including me, do the basics sometimes. Keep going !!!
Brother Dave is a lot funnier than he was a few years ago when he was chases first employee, green here since like 1.5k subs
Love brother Dave the OG
Just driving circles around the yard on the golf cart for footage lol 🤣
I hope you guys keep this series going! It’s pulled me in to both your channels and I look forward to it every week!
this is a great series keep it up!
We now know your eBay store, not too many intellivision super pro in box

who needs friends family or hobbies when you can get money
I'm jealous of this series, if I had a car I'd do this but without one it's hard to make funds. I can't ship or retrieve finds reliably 😢
Please extend series love it
600? That’s wild. That’s like 180-200 max. Be curious what you end up with on that item.
Hope you guys do another series like this after this one is done!!!
For some reason the start of the video cracked me up.
Waiting that video every week !
I had that duck hunting game at one point haha
Do you fink funko pop are good to sell or hard
What size light box did y’all buy? And what’s a good size for most items like a duffel bag and smaller?
Great video Brother's. A suggestion for You make sure Your Vintage star wars weapons are authentic before selling them😎👍❤️🇺🇸🇨🇦❤️✨️💯✨️💯✨️💯✨️
That's a lot of GameBoys
why relist most people say end and do sell similar

That intellivision was a STEAL

so why are you both doing pyramids with your hands at the beginning
Forever series sponsored annually by Ebay and xyab?
Hello! :D
How do you film at sales ?? Is it inconspicuous, or obvious?
Is there an official eBay swag store? I want a hat and sweater lol. I found them online, but other resellers are selling them, and I would like to shop from an official eBay store if one exists.
🔥
15:08 😂
variants
I just want to play Dr Mario and Tetris again!!!
What’s there EBay store name?
Actually admistrative structure of the business would be more valuable to most.
i thought the shelf was a box fan
Wait did I miss an episode where you bought a shit load of game boys?
what game boys there was none in this video
At the start of the video the pics of last week's purchases and sales were all game boys lol
Those were just to represent the quantity of items, they didn't actually have game boys.
Basement chronicles
"That things new"
Why do so many people lie to you 😂😂😂😂
