Hey I just got the game, and chronomancy is definitely the ascendancy I am excited to play the most. A close second is the blood witch. That said, I’ve read very controversial opinions on chronomancy, some claiming it’s really good, most claiming storm is the only viable sorc ascendancy. This video has proven to me that ascendancy just adds flavour too the classes, and that I shouldn’t worry about what’s considered good or bad! Thanks for uploading this, I can’t wait to ascend on my sorc to a chronomancer!
@@brentongallant5623 hey! I was too excited to play chrono the most, and this is the game after all so I picked what I like and it turns out that the chrono is fun! And I didnt feel like I was losing smth since my def early game was quite good. In late game tho I thought about respecing into CI on chrono taking time freeze and the thing that brings your hp/es/mana back. You can experiment a bit and it will pay off :)
hello and thanks for the video, fellow chronomancer here! I have tested multiple setups after nerf as well and I am trying now Goratha's one with fireball + frost wall. I think many players and content creators are underestimating one of the most powerful skill Chrono has which is Time Rift. In particular for mana sustain it helps us going back to full and keep spamming, plus against bosses it's pretty much the best node to pick if you are not mecchanicaly perfect at dodging and stuff. Every 5 seconds on average we can use this super powerful skill, but it seems like noone wants to play POE2 like "price of persia" xD personally I am loving it and it made my game so much fun.
Hello and thanks! I actually was using the time rift , it helps with mana problems and it will be even better in CI setup, helping us sustain the energy shield. So ye, great skill

sure, this way all your fireball dmg converts to cold so it can build freeze on mobs as well as increasing fireball dmg output (even tho fireball is the secondary source of dmg it can help a lot on clearing big groups of monsters. You can also stick to goratha guide since he keeps upgrading it in many ways (adding cast on freeze that actually works etc).
Hey, great video, I have some questions. The main source of damage comes from fire or frost in this way? I would say fireball is the main damage but I see you built Cold damage. Why?(New to path of exile)
Hey! Great question. We mainly build cold damage because we want to kill both mobs and bosses with the frostwall. But most of the times, the frostwall does not explode by itself. So you use fireballs to destroy your own frostwalls! And the frostwall explosions are killing the mobs.
its cast on freeze thing. You socket it with a comet and when u freeze certain amount of mobs ( depend on the mob rarity) it lands. but it was nerfed so its not that efficient as it used to be. I`m still thinking of ways how to improve it but this build is much worse now, I do not recommend playing it.
I'm playing this build, but I'm not playing chronomancer, I've chosen Stormweaver. It'll probably be less interesting, but it's a bit too late anyway 😅
I put so many hours into chrono cold, and now it's not enjoyable people are heaving fun( they're characters at least have 1 button fast clear, besides melee it's trash) but I guess I'm gonna stop playing.
ye its very sad for me too.. it was my start character, I spent so many hours trying to find a way of playing cold to enjoy and it turns up there are no ways (for this stage of the game). So I swapped to monk it feels good for now

The frostwall spam is insane with Chornomancer when you're fighting large sized targets that explodes the ice crystal instantly. 😄
ye this is my favourite feature about the frostwall, you melt bosses so fast!
I am a novice POE player and I want to ask you. You don’t have the comet skill in your skill bar, but why does a comet land when you kill?

I`d pick stormweaver too in the purposes of the efficiency ;D its much better on mana regen n overall dmg (less tricky features tho)
