🤔 I think maybe thriller books in the summer are subconsciously inspired by all the summer related slasher movies lol
Mistborn is such a good trilogy. It’s really good and a great first or second read by him. You shouldn’t be too scared of it. It’s pretty easy to get into. Also the books I’m reading this July are Divine rivals, ruthless vows, the cheat sheet, the rule book, A Million Junes, Foul Lady Fortune, and the Naturals. Maybe more but that’s all for now.
Ok, that actually makes me feel a lot better about starting Mistborn! Ooo and it sounds like you've got a good July tbr going!! I've only read Divine Rivals, but it was definitely a good one! ☺️📖✨

I don't really make TBRs but some of my current reads are Such Sharp Teeth and Businness Casual (two very different books 😂 but loving both). And I also wanna read Long Live Evil as I got the arc. Except for that it depends on my mood 👀

I can't believe we are already in July😅. As always the TBR jar is always the fun way to choose our books. The scorched grace book sounds really interesting, I might read that when the spooky season comes 😂.
PS: I finished Kingdom of the Wicked and I am obsessed with it, I am halfway through Kingdom of the Cursed and I guess I might finish it tomorrow. I am wondering if I should read the last book or switch it up with Door in the Dark.
Right!? Where is the time going?? 🤯 I think I might save Scorched Grace for closer to fall as well, it seems like a good seasonal transition book. ☀️📖🍂
Ahhh I'm so excited you're loving Kingdom of the Wicked!! I prefer to binge a series if I can (my memory is too bad to wait 😅 lol), but if you feel like you want to switch it up a little A Door In The Dark is a good book too!

Just for the Summer is on the top of my summer reads list, so I had to pick it! ☀️ As for the Caraval trilogy, I'm currently midway through Legendary (the 2nd book) and so far both books have a really fun setting and there's lots going on...but for some reason I haven't connected with it as much as I feel like I should be; I'm enjoying it while I'm reading, but I don't mind putting it down and I don't really care to pick it back up 🙃 BUT I will say, we did meet Jacks in Legendary (who Once Upon A Broken Heart is about) and that has definitely piqued my interest more to get to that series. So that's kind of where I'm at right now...I don't know if that was very helpful lol

I was really hoping that Luna was going to choose Dust Storm, I'm glad she did. I've read the first two in the Mistborn series, and they were not as scary as I thought they'd be. and I was randomly looking at my storygraph earlier and learned that I've read Curious Tides, I have no memory of that book at all, but apparently I liked it enough to give it 4 stars. Your tbr looks pretty freaking great, and not that you can't read it on it's own but uhm... have you read the two books that come before Just For the Summer? I have no idea what I'm reading in July. currently I'm reading Empire of the Vampire (fantasy) and Man Candy (romance)
That's so funny she picked the one you wanted! It totally worked out for me too, because I kind of have a video idea for it that I'm excited about 🤠 LOL idk how I should feel about Curious Tides. I'm going to go with, you rated it 4 stars, so it'll probably be good. I can't tell you how many books I read and almost immediately forget the details of...but I know I loved them 😂 As for Abbey Jimenez, I have read the other two. I read them both last year and LOVED them!! Oooo Empire of the Vampire sounds and looks VERY intriguing! And I actually found two Man Candy's; a romance by Melanie Harlow, and a small town billionaire romance by Vanessa Vale. I'm not sure which one your reading, but I think they both need to be added to my list LOL
@@jenseereads I'm already intrigued by this Dust Storm video idea. Maybe this summer I'll read Part of Your World and Yours Truly, then look into getting Just For the Summer. I know I'm going to like them, so I don't know why I keep putting them off. Empire of the Vampire is a lot more funny than I was expecting, okay I wasn't really expecting any humour but it's got some giggle and snort to it. I'm reading the Melanie Harlow one, and it's cute.
@@Micmezle I haven't read Just for the Summer yet (obviously lol), but I don't think you have to read them in order. Technically I I read the other two backwards and I don't feel like it impacted my enjoyment of either book. If you're feeling stuck with starting, my opinion is just start with whichever one sounds the most fun ☺ Ooo interesting! I wouldn't have thought the vampire book would be humorous! ..now I'm even more intrigued lol 🧛🏻♀
@@jenseereads I know that I technically don't have to read them in order, but also I really do, and I own the first two so it's not a big deal. awhile back I decided to myself that I was going to read all interconnected stand-alones in order. which has been kind of fun.
